@lifeofhmongwomen2640. I agree. Sometimes, there are circumstances outside of what we've tried and committed to. There's a background story we weren't provided with. I married young, have 2 boys and to this day, I love them. However, the person I loved at 17 isn't the same person today. Goals, expectations, life obligations, and just general love for those who you choose to love goes a long way unless someone gives up so the other individual does as well.

@abyssguy686 Sure. You must be insecure if that's your only response you can conjure up with. Either that or you couldn't perform, so whatever it was, from the way you write, thankfully, they got away from you. Just because a relationship doesn't work doesn't mean someone cheated. It just means sometimes it just wasn't meant to be, no matter how hard you tried. I've been with my husband for 20+ years. Still together. No cheating. I'm just saying that you go through a lot of hardships, especially when you're younger and just starting out as adults - financially, education, professionally. Not everything is just about sex and why someone leaves you ( yes, you, specifically) because they found someone who can provide them satisfaction better than you could. Those hardships take a toll on you eventually. Especially when you have someone as closed-minded as you are.

This song is a reminder that while we work really hard for our family, we shouldn't leave them behind and neglect them emotionally. When we come home exhausted and only give our left over to our spouse, they will not feel loved even if we bring home money. All the money in the world can't buy time and love. Cha, you did so good with your acting. I'm so proud of you! The actor reminds me of my hard working husband who I choose to love and extend grace to over and over again. No one can ever replace him. Leaving is not a solution. Faithfulness, Honesty and Communication is key. I hope this beautiful song and illustrations help others to be more intentional with their love ones. Women on the other hand fall in love with the person they cheat with and that will destroy the marriage. Women being suppressed is actually a good thing for society because women are not rational. Women are emotional and when they are given too much freedom to make decisions, they usually make bad decisions because when you make decisions base on emotions, it's usually a bad decision. This is why divorce rate have gotten so high since feminism have taken over the USA. Women think feminism is good for them but it's actually not because in the end men will end up using them and marry abroad. In the end feminism does more harm than good to women.

This made me cry so much. My ex and I were together for 18 years. He loved me so much and fought his whole family to be with me because I wasn't good enough. We couldn't have kids on top of that too. But man we loved each other so much. We were so happy. But over time, the family, no kids, life, addiction and secrets broke us. Just like the guy in this video, he didn't fight to keep me. He was very easy to walk away like the guy in this video. Just signed like nothing. We didn't have children so it made it just a little easier. But the hopes and dreams of them still hurt. It's been 7 years now. I'm remarried and guess what? I was able to finally have babies. All natural. They were waiting for their right daddy. But the pain and sadness from my ex, I will always carry deep inside. Because hearing this song had me crying my eyes out. And I hope he sees this video and think of me because of how he didn't fight. And should've been a better man. AND because of the girl's name in the video IS MY NAME. So I know he'll think of me and what could've been.

You forgot to take me into consideration. I was never your priority. I've asked for changes many times. You've pushed me and told me to go many times, yet I stayed. Thanks for trying to love me. I've learned to love myself while you were still trying. Now that I'm slowly going, you can't manipulate your ways anymore, and that hurts you. You're not the only one who's hurting. 18yrs and 3 kids later. It wasn't an easy decision. But it was one for my mental health. It was a great chapter of my life. No regrets. Now, I'll have to unlearn all of my defense mechanisms to love again. Thank you.

I agree. Time is very precious. Spending too much time for your job can make you forget to spend time with your kids and wife. Your wife doesn’t get enough attention and suddenly it can shift to the kids and a new partner. Life is hard because we tend to forget the importance of time and finding a balance. I agreed sister👍we are soo focused on making and building material things in our lives we forgotten about the most important thing "is" ONE ANOTHER, the love we engaged together, the flame we once had when life was still simple because we wouldn't too concerned about all the material things. That's what's going on with everyone nowadays and spouses just don't make time for each other anymore. We see people and individuals at work more than our own love ones at home and when that happens we blame one another but reality "Is" it's everyone's fault for forgetting the reason "WHY" we work so hard in the first place😔😔my opinion at least.

In my opinion, some of us between the ages of 40-50ish are trapped in a trauma matrix from our childhood. The emotional or physical neglect continues to seep into our adult relationship causing unhealthy behaviors. It's kinda of a generational trauma that often goes unnoticed until someone leaves….PAY ATTENTION to the EMOTIONAL needs of your life partner.

Humans have feelings don’t matter what you do if there isn’t compromise there isn’t a relationship. It goes both ways.ppl cheat/leave for a number of reasons but mostly because one feels others affection at that time that their partner doesn’t provide. It always end up poorly for the kids

It’s also extremely hard on parents. Not just the kids. Day in and day out they live with the guilt. It’s a rough world out there and until you experience it you won’t know. This song shows both side of the pain.

Sometimes you can try very hard but the other person is too stubborn. Nobody wants divorce but sometimes it’s the only way… kids will unfortunately suffer either way in that case.

You and me both brother, this song came out almost the same time me and my wife is going through a divorce and we also have two kids (a boy and a girl). And just like this song I still love my wife and find if hard to let her go.

Seems like a hard working man providing for his family and all she want was attention to feel loved. Both did not communicate and make time for one another. At the end the kids suffered because both parents were too selfish to come together and make changes. He traded his time for money and a life style for his wife and kids. She wanted attention so she traded their life style for another man's time. Sad. Need to start thinking about the kids and not just themselves. The kids didn't seem to have any issue when the parents were together. Remember it's the children that are mostly affected by relationships and decisions like this. I feel for the song and anyone who goes through this. Stay strong and stay positive. Thank you for making such a good song.

He never miss you until you're gone then it's too late. Why can't he change or treat you better when you're still with him? I see too many similar situations in families and friends. It's the same for both women and men. I guess the phrase, You don't know what you have till it's gone is so very true. It's so sad that some times life happens this way. Why do people wait until it's too late to do nice things to the one they love? Just a simple I love you or a simple hug will make such a big difference.

I’m so fortunate that I divorced my ex husband with 4 kids and just like that, at the right place and the right time, I met my now husband right away. It seems pretty common in marriages nowadays. The dude works full shifts, too exhausted to give their wife full attention. She then goes to find free attention online and meets a dude. Honestly so easy to find any desperate dude willing to give all their attention for sex acting like they actually care. Innocent kids are involved in the process and suffer for life. Sad. Husband needs to not neglect their wife's feelings and tend to them when they can because they are extremely emotional creatures.
