I love how vichai encouraged his wife to be a part of his singing career and even spotlight her in singing. I knew some singers who would go showcase other singers and Ignore their talented wife who is a singer.

As a shaman myself this is what we go through with every session....it doesn't get easier because we experience everyone's pain

I grew up Christian my whole life and never really understood the cultural practice of Hmong. As I become older, I've learned to appreciate the history and meaning of our cultural traditions. Nice work on the music video and leading with quality work.

This song hits hard because I know in the Hmong community I have seen a lot of relatively young married couples who have lost their spouse. It is a very heartbreaking thing to experience that I'm sure even words cannot describe it. I think this song greatly portrays the love and sadness when a loved one goes on their journey to the afterlife. I have watched this MV 5 times now and I've cried all 5 times. 😅😅😅 I'm gonna stop watching it now before I faint too.

Dang, this is so heartbreaking but at the same time send chills up your spine. Only if you grasp the Hmong funeral and the significance of the flute songs. These are the stories that were always taboo to tell out loud but only whispered through our elder story tellers. Glad to see it turned into art.

Wow, this is one of the best song ever. My husband is a Shaman and his dad was a Qeej Master and play every funeral. He listen to this song and gave him teary eyes. He instantly understands the meaning behind the song. Brings back many sad memories at the same time it is great to have a song that portrays the way of our cultures. The significance of the red string and why you don’t play Qeej for your closest friends, families and loved one. Well done.❤❤❤❤

My husband's funeral was just last month. But I didn't listen to this song until after. I didn't know who you were until you came to the funeral. Thank you for this song and for taking the time to come to the funeral and support us in sending him away to his forever home.

I’ll admit, at first I was not feeling the song, but listening through it and hearing the words…made me feel something so deep within…some connection. This was a beautiful, beautiful piece depicting our Hmong culture. Thank you

ua koj luag is probably one of my favorite songs. I still don't get bored listening to it over and over again. From the plot to the actors, it's very good and touching. I'm a hmoob in Vietnam. I'm very proud that in America there are talented hmoobs like you. I'm very proud of you. Hmoob people no matter what country we are in, we are always brothers. love you so much

Well done. I got so emotional, then scared then sad again n bawled my eyes out. The fact that he knew all along and was so sad. She was just so innocent and happy that he's next to her. The twist when it came to an end and they both realized. The pain. 😭😭😭😭

What an awesome song! Vichai, you went above to show true love between two people and the sadness of losing that person. The lyrics and music are a perfect match, showing the afterlife of our Hmong shamanism culture.
