Thank you for this video! I have watched a bunch, and still couldn't wrap my head around it. Stitching one row at a time did it for me. Once I saw that, it made perfect sense! Thanks again! Love your channel!

Thank you so much, Karen! This video helps more than you can possibly know. In one way or another, you have answered/ addressed every question I’ve had regarding diagonal stitching, parking, and even how to use my gridded fabric. I truly appreciate you taking time out of your day to help those of us who are struggling to figure this out. I hope you have a wonderful day. Thank you again!😊😊

Thank you so much for this video. I want to do full coverage but I'm so intimidated by all of the ways to park/stitch. I'm definitely going to give this a confident try now thanks so much!

Thank you so much. Karen, you had explained parking beautifully. I had tried parking for years and it never was for me, I just could not get the hang of it with the hanging threads. But now I love it mainly for confetti work and full coverage. Fantastic video.

Thank you Karen! Wonderful video; now I am itching to start a full coverage piece to put all that into practice. I have found a very small HAED pattern, and I am really resisting the urge of buying and starting it (just for trying, nothing else 😂). Best regards, Ariadna. (I edit: I found an even smaller Artecy pattern, that I like better... where do I find the time for it? 😉)

I’m with you! This video got me revved up to get back to a full coverage piece too! 😊 I have an ornament by HAED that I started a few years ago and was loving working on it, so maybe I’ll go back to that. But I do have some more HAED charts loaded in Pattern Keeper and I MIGHT start one of those. (I have a zillion WIPS going here - what’s one more? 😂) Even though I started one of these it’s been so long it’s like I’m starting over from scratch. Karen’s vids and tips are the BEST!! Good luck with your Artecy project!! (HAED has some free charts on their site, too, I think?)

Great tutorial. I never thought about just parking a "couple of threads" as you start out in a full-coverage piece. I have a project all kitted up and it has been sitting my drawer since last year. I plan on taking her out and get stitching. P.S. I never heard of a technique for parking called "Royal Rose"...can you explain this sometime in the future? Thank you!

What do you use to mark the blocks

My favorite to use is a Bohin chalk pencil. On this video I used a Frixion pen which I do not recommend

Oh that explains the crispness of the line could you use the bohin chalk pencil on patterns that are not full coverage? I'm stitching on evenweave so some grid lines would make it easier@@NeedleBugg
