I feel like Tanguy is one of those people who will let the smallest inconvenience de-rail their entire motivation. When Jose was sacked Mason dropped him almost straight away. He thought f this as he had been on form for 6 months then Mason just shut him out to play his mate Harry Winks. When Nuno came in again he started performing well for a few games and getting into Nuno's team then Nuno was sacked. Conte never really fancied him and he thought "really I've got to do this cycle and prove myself again" and just stopped caring. Then after the Morecambe game there was no coming back from that disaster. Seems like everywhere since the motivation that Jose managed to find has never resurfaced and he's been a squad player at best. Disappointing to see the decline but I feel all the mager changes certainly didn't help him one bit.

Gift and Grit, the rest is Gratitude and Grace! As Federer so eloquently expressed the other day, Gift alone is not enough, it takes enormous grit and inimitable work ethic to make it look so easy and to be so successful. The kid had a lot of talent, but lacked the requisite internal motivation to make anything of it... I'm not even sure he even enjoyed playing football. You can't blame him for the Grift, we were the mugs for not pursuing the requisite due diligence when signing him in the first place, and the person responsible has since left the club. Lesson Learnt... we move on.
