It may be hard for some people to grasp what this cost Ali. Three years out of contention is a lifetime for a boxer. When he came back he was not as fast and never had quite the same level of technical skill. He took massive beatings from Frazier and Foreman, among others. (That may also have contributed to his Parkinson's.) We'll never know how good he could have really been. But in not taking the step, he became so much more than a fighter, but a moral symbol to the world.

Stand for something or fall for anything!!! Well done brother! I just believe that the reasons for war is always doctored up for a different agenda. So God smiles on the ones that stand for not fighting a vain war so the bullies can stay bullies.
