    I grew up in the 90s in Vietnam, where 99% of the population never heard of basketball, no internet, TV never talked about basketball, yet every kid knew the name of Michael Jordan and he was a great basketball player. Wasn't that something?

    @@KaptainLopez a bit far off from my part, but besides the name of the sport - which mean "ball-into-basket" in Vietnamese, back there I don't know anything about Basketball, never saw a basketball, a ring etc, yet I and most kids knew MJ was a great basketball player. Even I feel strange about it, just to prove how popular he was.

    In my country we had only Finals from NBA on TV:) and most crazy fans didnt sleep till 2-4 a.m. when game was shown:) we were like 11-12 yo kids at the time:) In most ppl who love the game that name(MJ) is engraved somewhere deep inside.

How about the Clippers, if they hadnt choked would they get the same scrutiny? For instance Kyrie won it for him. Not taking away from the block but he still needed a shot and couldn't buy a basket. Then the win in Miami if Ray Allen saved him and he never destroys a team.     This has to be satire. When Jordan retired the first time in 93’ (I think) his team only lost 2 more games. When Lebron left the cavs the first time, they lost 42 more games. Lebron elevates his team to championships. Jordan is there for the ride.
