One of the most satisfying, very satisfying and very addicting is to block a shot into the stands or to pin the ball on the backboard. At 5'10 44in vertical. So blessed to had the opportunity to do both block it into the stance and pin it on the backboard. But my favorite way to block a shot was to block it off the backboard hard 🖐🏼😤. 4:34 this is one of the best commentator calls in NBA history
04:40 Kemp didn’t just swatted the ball. Upon seeing that replay, you’ll notice that his had was already up there but he decided to cock it back then swat it for extra power.
I think I remember Bill Russell once commenting about how he didn't understand why players blocked shots out of bounds. He thought the better play was to keep it inbounds. Even if the opposing team gets it again it was better than no chance getting the ball.

well im no bill russel but i know that sending it out resets the possession, and if you just tip it thered be a scramble for the ball. when everyones scrambling theres no set defense

Anderson blocked that shot so hard and it went directly into dude's face 🤣 gotta be the most disrespectful thing you can do without the opponent calling for a foul
NBA fights but the get increasingly more savage
I remember bill Russell saying he used to block a shot but he alters the trajectory to land on to one of his teammates so they cud run for a break instead of blocking a shot out of bounds. Make sense
Lol I read that comment too! Shoutout to Cosh for listening to his fans 👍🏿
This is the first time I’ve seen any of your videos but the idea that someone decided to make this video is really funny to me

Great video! Everybody has gotten a shot blocked. Not nearly as many have had their weak shot attempts sent into the stands. It is the defensive equal of being posterized or having those ankles broken.

“GET THAT SHOT OUT OUT OF HERE”
This video makes it clear that the most violent rejections result from weak side help defense haha.
Damn ja morant really was gunning for that block, fired it one into the stands and the players recoiled in shock
I saw this suggested in the sportsmanship video you did. You got it done quickly!
I saw this as a comment on a previous video. Dope that you take those as video suggestions.
Birdman sent that shit right back into his face 😂😂😂
Good video but you gotta put the Dwight Howard one where the commentator literally says “Howard, bats it into the 3rd row”🤣🤣
Damn I missed playing this game of basketball so much.
prob my fav video of yours. bird man clip has to be my favorite

@@user-nw6se9yc7j Exactly. It's actually a bad play to block the ball into the stands *if* you could have caught it or tipped it to a teammate instead to start a fast break. Whereas a regular dunk is the safest way to score vs. a missed layup. But a show-off dunk that fails is a bad play.
