Carter and Finley are great examples of expanding their game to not being reduced to be a dunking machine.

Of the people on the list at the end I think Harden, Lillard and Klay Thompson will end up with more 3's than Ray Allen. Nobody will get past Curry.

That is just because they played in different era. Passing Ray doesn't make them greater

I haven't watched this yet but I feel like the torch got passes from Bird to Reggie, to Ray Allen then to Steph. I can't imagine how good a shooter someone will have to be for Steph to pass it on to.

it's funny b/c he only started taking a lot of 3s out of necessity after his back injury in '86 limited his mobility. otherwise he'd be known more as a post-up scorer

@@jesses5463 Bird is more than likely the most diverse and complete players in the history of the NBA. He did everything. He was a point/small/power forward.

Seeing Darrell Griffith rise and fall makes me sad. He was the first NBA player to realize how the three could open up his interior Dr Dunkenstien game. He just never the same player after the injury.
