    Just another reminder why Vince Carter’s goat status in dunking should be accepted as an inarguable fact and acknowledged more often like Steph’s shooting is and MJ is overall. All three are so far and beyond the runner up and it’s not even close. VC’s in game dunks from 20 years ago are being done by todays players in the dunk contest. 🤯 🙌🏻🐐

    You can tell after Mac's first dunk, he was in awe once he saw the score and it took something out of him for the remainder of the show. That dunk was mad hype compared to some of the other dunks! Even as a viewer, that score lowered the energy and hype in the room!

    This is exactly right. After his first dunk that deserved a 50 and the judges didn't give him the points he deserved, he decided to not do any of the crazier, more risky dunks he was planning to do. He decided to play it safe and do ones he knew he could hit 1st attempt and would get the needed scores.

    Props to Jaylon Brown for entering; when I was a kid some of the best players were in the competition and seems like the last 10 years especially you hardly get a player of Browns caliber anymore. I hope even though he didn’t win he had fun and we see more real stars such as himself compete in the years to come.
