1 the original build I made my career got Frozen at 96 overall in 2K gave me 460, 000 VC to make a new one. About a week later they released an update and my career from my original build started working again.

It makes no sense. You gotta start thinking for yourself. You should put little to no relevance into anything that is reported to you through news, social, and media outlets. As stated in the email, the amount of personal information hackers would’ve been able to obtain breaching 2K’s Help Desk is ‘limited’. So why would hackers waste their time and efforts?

Ngl scamming been going on a lot idk why it’s picking up it’s not even just 2k companies like chase, Verizon, and T-Mobile been having a lot of scamming with the sketchy links it’s weird asl

I been having trouble trying to loading to my Mycarrer player(97 overall) for the past 2 days because a error( CE-34878-0) keeps popping up everytime im trying to load in with him. but if I make new build it doesn’t do it. I literally had try every method as like initialization, checking for updates, reset ps4 literally everything. I had try every single resolution & still nothing if somebody can help please help because I had spend my time & money on that player for me not to play with him smh or at least my money or VC back something. What’s the best solution for this problem if somebody knows. What’s 2k support number or something?

I sent in a support ticket like 2 days ago and I also got this email. MFA stands for Multi Factor Authentication my work just started doing this. That means you have to sign in with multiple usernames and multiple passwords to access your account. Yes It’s very annoying

True story: Recently reached out to 2K support for VC for the glitches and whatnot, a few days later, received an email from Sony saying that the email to my account was changed. Within about 3 hours, someone changed my email account and bought about $900 worth of games or whatever on my credit card linked to the account. I froze the card, called Sony and told them what happened, they were really supportive and refunded everything pretty easily. Didn't have 2-step verification or a checkout code when buying stuff, but do now. Suggest you do too!

This is old news. I was dealing with an issue with my xbox crashing in the rec during the time and I woke up to a message being sent from 2ksupport on having to download a new launcher. Sinc it was sent from 2ksupport themselves I let my guard down and installed the zip file.

Why would hackers waste their time and efforts breaching 2K’s Help Desk data base if the amount of personal information that could be obtain is ‘limited’? On top of that, what would hackers be hoping to gain from gamers already complaining about spending $100 on VC? Unless it was done outta spite to humble 2K for its corporate greed, I think there are more lucrative gaming communities to aim for.

i thought because of the VC prices they could afford better security

Damn a half made game with poor server and connection issues then getting hacked and putting our accounts in jeopardy that’s crazy glad I got back my full refund 😂

On the day I had one unsuccessful attempt for logging in, by someone from Korea. I have changed my password. I have 2-step and I received a code when buying something on Xbox store. It ain't the first time got my email and phone number stolen before from a massageboard that got hacked. So keep an eye out for activities on your accounts not just 2K.

On Xbox 2 step is actually bad, especially if you have a og gamertag DO NOT put on 2 step because it’s harder for you to get back into your account if you do get hacked.

I have multible Warning Massages on my Emails for Phishing and PC from my Anti Virus. i had to reset my whole PC deleting all my Data from 5 Years.
