Which attributes improve the floater? Shot close? Shot off dribble? Layup? have tuned all of those to 90 and still can't make the shot efficiently. Or does it come with the scoring player type in My Career?

yes, just hold LT and then you can use the Right Stick for everything else.

I loved your 2k12 post tutorial! Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwon is most def the best all around center. The Dream Shake is my all time favorite move

For plays, press the right button on the D-Pad then press one of the buttons to select which play you want. Though there are only 4 or 5 plays so I don't know if you can go to something to change it or something. To answer your second question, to do an alley-oop, make sure a teammate is also running down the court with you then right when you're about to press square + x, move the left stick towards your teammater (make sure then can dunk and catch or else they might miss and cause a turnover)

Release at the top of your shot. If you don't release it you will come down with the ball and it will be a travel violation. However this is a video game so the computer might make you release it but it'll be on the way down and you won't have the power to make an accurate shot.

yo shake, how do you shoot off the glass? I remember in 2k11, all you had to do was press a trigger when you shot, and you could go glass. It seems done at random now. Btw, your vids are fresh as fuhh! haha cheers meng

Go to the options place and not sure which one it is, presentation game settings or whatever but on one of them, there's an option that allows the CPU to call plays.

Yes you can, change your shot settings from Isomotion/Shots to Shots/Isomotion. Then you primarily shoot with the RS, but need to hold LT to do dribble moves.

Well to do a dunk like that, you have to go into MyCareer - Player - Player Upgrades - Animations - then you press r2/rt and go to the dunk packages section and buy a dunk package. There are windmills, 360s, through the legs and others and once you've bought those, you can go to edit player and put those for dunk packages and have a chance to do them when doing for a dunk. You can also use the right stick but I don't know where to move them. You can check Shake's video on a dunking tutorial. :)

How do u do a fake spin in to a shot? you know like how Kobe does. He runs towards left say the left, he stops and fakes a spin move and turn the other way in to a fadeaway. Saw the CPU do it to me and I wanna be able to do it too! I've tried alot of combos but havent figured it out. Someone help me out!

Well shooting/layups/and dunks are random with just moving the LS and press the button. But using the right stick will make like a certain type instead of making a random dunk/layup. But using the right stick is a bit complicated. You can check the manual thing for the stick controls or go to settings - controller settigns - advanced controls.

Icon passing is used to pass to a certain player instead of pressing A/X and giving it to whoever your facing or is near you or is calling for the ball. To make a teammater set a screen, sometimes they do it themselves but if you want it at a certain point, hold down LB/L1 and then a player comes to set it for you. Or you could press right on the D-pad and then pick a play.

Continued from my previous comment. To do a self alley-oop, run towards the basket and move LS towards the basket and press square and x. If it doesn't work, try upgrading your vertical/dunk/catching/passing and some stuff like that. If it still doesn't work, try asking a very good player like shake because I'm not super good and 2k13 but I'm pretty good. I mostly shoot 3's and do layups.

If I am right, I believe that the runner/floater. You are running towards the basket, hold X then move the left stick away from the basket and release X or something like that.

Hop jumper the best in my opinion. Really good move for Melo and KD use it with guys that have Deadeye and Shot Creator. Bottom of the net all day!
