Dude that’s awesome. I took the civilian route and currently fly a corporate jet looking to make the leap to the airlines. If I could do it all over I’d join the service!

When I die, I want to come back as a US Navy Fighter Pilot. My father was a USAF fighter pilot. He used to scout out our hunting and camping sites in the Serra Navadas mountains in his F-4c. When we were out on the trail backpacking in, I heard the sound jet engines echo in the distance, we look back down the canyon two F-4s knife edging came thundering past then came back from the other direction. So cool I could see the pilot's helmet looking back. Dad said they were from the squadron back at George AFB. Dad also told me back in Vietnam he flew his Phantom with some Navy F-4s, he watched them land on the carrier and let him make a pass. He was so impressed with Navy Fighter Pilots and I always remembered that. Serria Hotel Navy Pilots!

Watch out for the pipeline patrol guys 😎. I’ve had a few of your buddies in Zoom Bags come up under me a few times while I was 500 to 800 AGL. I could have easily taken a few shots if I had been so equipped. Out of high school I did 4 years as a purple shirt on the JFK CV67 back from 81 to 85. Just retired after 25 years and 14,500 hours PIC as a professional pilot. God gave me the desire of my heart. Hope that your as blessed as I was. Thank you for your service and the videos. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I was a carpenter building buildings at Mossyrock dam. These fighters, FA-18's, 15 and 16's fly in the river valley and sneak up on me and zip past me then I'd here the sound a second later, soooooo cool!!

I grew up in NorCal, and really took for granted the beauty that the Pac NorthWest area is. currently enlisted nuke trying to go aviator after my contract is over, if I can ever get out of this forsaken community.

Perhaps a silly question but why do Americans find it necessary to say Pacific North West? You are all aware there is only one ocean bordering your North West Coastline, aren’t you? As a non American, I find it a bit too many descriptions for say, Oregon or Washington

@@Bynggo We say it to specify its that area in particular. For example, if I was in florida and I said northwest, they might think northwestern flordia. northwest alone can also refer to alaska.

@@bujurocks8188 Nice try but I don’t think that explanation will fly, so to speak. I’ve seen news reports or people visiting and they are in Washington and always say, here in the pacific north west. I understand the reference of direction. I live in South East of Queensland, but I don’t have to include the ocean in near. It’s a given so there is no need for me to say, the pacific south east. Am I making myself clear. Take note when others are referring to that position of the US.
