I long for the day when ST actually do their own reporting instead of regurgitating what was reported by other media.

Intergenerational Housing = Elderly parents moving to live with kids and grandkids. Govts pay pensions by household wealth not by individual wealth.

Sleep trackers? Cortisol stress checks? 10,000 steps per day? Why would anyone bother buying life insurance under that surveillance? Someone needs to clip this breach of personal privacy

The important guy in the middle said the problem is people living in retirement collectively require 70 trillion dollars more be spent then they've saved and it'll be 400 trillion by 2050. The real problem is the rise in costs. Why will it cost 330 trillion dollars more per year 16 years from now? Maybe they should explore why costs for services rise. Inflation is a man made construct that truthfully makes a small group of people richer. Costs are linked to government spending so when governments waste money but they're afraid to tax, they print money and once the money printing becomes a problem for really rich people because the money they possess is worth less than it did yesterday, they raise prices of the goods they make to sell us. Stop wasteful government spending, tax everyone fairly and we won't have insane rates of inflation.
