Enthralling and intimate, director Daniel Roher’s “Navalny” unfolds with the pace of a thriller as it follows Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny in his quest to identify the men who poisoned him in August 2020. Shot in Germany as the story unfolded and offering extraordinary access to the investigation, “Navalny” is a fly-on-the-wall documentary that is also a study of Navalny the man-a portrait of a leader intent on reform who will not be cowed by anything, including his own poisoning.

Putin, that cowardly dork, didn't kill Navalny. He revived him. His cowardly plan to eliminate yet another opponent has backfired and now Navalny is more important and more influential than ever before. Now, even more people know his name. Now, the name Navalny is synonymous with freedom all over the world, and his message will continue to spread, and his support will continue to grow. And his brilliant wife, and all of his colleagues, will continue to continue the fight on his behalf until the fight is won. I think Navalny probably always knew he was going to be murdered. It was standard procedure. But instead of hiding like Putin hides in his big dumb mansions, he went right into the fire, he sacrificed himself, to save millions of others. What an incredible human.

Естественно вливают, это же супер-история, как с приводнением самолета на Гудзон (фильм Чудо на Гудзоне с Томом Хэнксом) или про парнишку который создал самую большую в мире соц. сеть (фильм Социальная сеть). Люди любят такие истории, поэтому про это снимают фильмы.

CIA plotted to kidnap or kill him. Now the UK is sending him to the US where he will be “tried” in a secret espionage court where the jury pool is military and CIA personnel, a court that always convicts.
