That’s a great idea for a video! I haven’t watched all of your videos yet so I don’t know if you’ve talked about politeness. (For example, on public transportation, at the supermarket, and meeting new people or similar situations.) These environments sometimes require one to speak with those you’re not familiar with. So if someone you don’t know engages you in a queue, asks if they may sit beside you on the bus/train, or you’re meeting a friend of a friend for the first time, it’s important to be courteous and respectful, using the modifier -isimo or -isimas when saying please and muchas when using thank you. Also of note, is to extend a bit of extra respect for those who are older. ie. “Mucho gusto conocerlo, Don García.”

It depends on the party, but it is divided into three parts, the church, the food and the dance. Everyone chooses what they want to go to and usually only the closest ones go to the first one. So it is not necessarily late, cada quien va a lo que va.

Dehydration caused by too much alcohol is reduced by drinking water. Often the water is more important than the head ache power. Beer initially adds fluid but it also reduces the bodies reaction to expanding and contracting blood vessels in the brain. It works with a shot of whiskey instead of beer. But the water is essential. In Australia we call it, “The hair of the hound”. It is short for, “The hair of the dog that bit you”.

Unless the host of a party is a family member, you do kinda feel the need to go the church but besides that i've never gone to the church, we all go straight to the party!! hahaha #FACTS

I've never known of a single person even thinking to cheat the taqueros. BESIDES, taqueros CANNOT be cheated. Those dudes may not write every single order but they remember exactly what all their customers have had. That's something that I wouldn't believe if someone told me but it's true.

Is it naughty when someone comes late to the party block where everyone is gathered to socialize and feast on the food and cake (but not assisting the religious barty block or any other block in between and give a lousy and silly excuse why you didn't show up as in "se me durmio el gallo y no me levante" -the rooster didnt wake me up basically like type), not greeting everyone in the party, eat on till you are stuffed to the rim, pull out the food containers and ask for a lot of food to go for your mom abd siblings "because the siblings weren't feeling good and your mom is on the way home from work beaten up and can't come"...

At least in my 23 years (all my life) of living in Sonora, the church part of the wedding is "reserved" (not actually enforced, i mean anyone can go, but its generally) for real family members (the ones you actually see and care about, not extended, cousin of a cousin of a cousin) and real friends, the other people just sticks to the party and its completely fine

Un hermano de mi papá mordió todos los pedazos de pan dulce y le hecho la culpa a otro de mis tíos. Una hermana de mi mamá se comía toda la azúcar del pan dulce. ¡Eso si es travieso! A brother of my father bit all the pieces of sweet bread and blamed another one of my uncles. A sister of my mother would eat all the sugar off of the sweet bread. Now that’s naughty!
