This 'Natureel' is a species monograph for the Great Egret, a cosmopolitan bird (found throughout the world). These birds were photographed at Lake Cathie using the OM Systems OM-1 + 150-400mm f4.5 TC1.25X Pro lens. I use ProCapture modes almost exclusively to give myself the best chance of capturing decisive moments, poses, and sequences of wildlife action.
The images were processed in Lightroom Classic and exported as JPGs that were then referenced by a template in Premiere Pro to produce the video. Environmental sounds (e.g. bird calls) were recorded with a Zoom H2n digital recorder in recent years.
Some of the inset videos were created from bursts of ProCapture SH2 (50fps C-AF) frames recorded by the OM-1 and OMD EM-1 Mk2.
