I am just someone who always had a thing for military aircraft (especially models) and have been on flight shows. It is hard to me as an grown up man to leave the facts outs that those beautiful machines are made to destroy and kill. But the Su-57 in my opinion is the most "beautiful" stealth fighter out there. And the maneuverability is really really impressive. Just within peace times it must be a dream for every pilot to fly this thing.

BTW its not a cobra but Anataoly Kvochurs signature pilot manuever called Kvochur Bells. Anatoly Kvochur was a famous Russian testing pilot and invented this extreme manuever. Ever since he died every company has been trying to build a plane that was capable to do this manuever easier than he did it. Since he did it with a Su-30 and Mig-29 Fulcrums. For people who dont understand The Su-30 and the Mig-29 are older and harder to manuever then the 5. gen fighters now.

@@AjayharrysimonWell, the stealth on the SU57 will fail; it is extremely unstealthy, with a radar cross section of 1m^2 (according to Sukhoi themselves). The lack of radar absorbing materials as well as a very not-stealthy design allows more stealthier jets (such as the USAF F-35, who's RCS of 0.001 m^2 makes it 1000x stealthier than the SU57), to engage the jet outside of visual range and shoot it down undetected. It should also be noted that the F-35 and the F-22 are just as maneuverable as the SU57. In other words, the SU57 sucks.

BS....... While the F-22's exact RCS is classified, it's well known that the radar cross section is 0.0001 m2 or −40 dBsm - equivalent to the radar reflection of a "steel marble." The aircraft can also mount a Luneburg lens reflector to mask its RCS.

There are only 10 of these operational in Russian Air Force. Russia designs these amazing aircraft but doesn't have the money or production capacity to build many at all. I don't think it would last 2 minutes agains any US fighters, it's all about electronics, cyberwarfare, detecting the enemy first , getting in the first shot, etc.

Also, F-35 is a potato that cannot flight over the speed of sound for more than a few minutes. Do not be fooled, the F-35 seems questionable on paper, but you have no idea how capable it is in a fight. The ability to fire missiles in any direction basically through the plane, the sensors and data link. SU-57 is a big target, looks and sounds incredible, and has a great ability to put the nose on the target. A lot of these fancy moves waste energy and energy retention in a dogfight is important. Until proven in combat to be a success, the SU-57 can either be really lethal or a big "show and no go". The big issue is there is simply not enough of them to be a threat and I believe one is still missing. You would have less than 10 functional SU-57 and some other Sukhois and Migs against hundreds of F-22, F-35, F-15, F-16, F-18. Even if it was make believe superior to each one of those, numbers are everything.

But the Soviet keys to success were not the T-34 was a "better tank", it was numbers that eventually won due to how quickly Russia was able to manufacture them. The Germans also were not used to the extreme cold in Russia, another factor that greatly saved Russia from invasion. The Germans nearly succeeded in reaching the Kremlin.

You usually don’t go into a dogfight you normally go in beyond visual range engagement, in which case it’s equally matched with the F35 in such fights but not in a dogfight.

You know Swedish fighter pilots were doing the cobra maneuvers in the 50s, right? Why is it Ruzzia always has to copy other nations? Why can't they come up with anything new on their own?

More likely to fall out of the sky because of corruption at all levels in Russia.look at the T90 armata poorly made antique technology.Russia can't find enough parts to manufacture any sort of volume of planes. Look at the su35 gets shot out of the sky by a shoulder launched missile.Putins paid bots keep spamming.Putin needs 4 su35's to fly outside of Russia no doubt some ambitous young one will takeover from Putin sooner than later.​@@iddmoz6568

Apparently they intend to get Ukraine the F16. that aircraft is mostly good for ground ops. not air to air. my guess is if Ukraine will still be on the map they will hold it back and use it to launch missles to ground. its will prollu we shot down with BUK sam, or S-3-500.

@@motsigman To build your first jet fighter, you had to copy the British engine (actually you did reverse engineering). You were building planes that, by their doctrine, were supposed to make 1-2 flights before they were shot down, and you were supposed to achieve an advantage only in quantity, not quality. You assume that super maneuverability gives you an advantage, while most NATO aircraft are capable of downing your machines before they realize they have become a target....

...I am sure NATO is soiling themselves right now (extreme SARCASM).

The first country to use the Cobra manoeuver was Sweden. But, Russia got the credit for this spectacular move

No one cares about sweeden literally they are only known for ikea. How will anyone trust nations that were never involved in wars, about weapons? Like i may hate like all of my neighboring countries here in greece but at least i respect that they have gone through a lot of wartime even recently.

Yes, but that Draken Cobra was an emergency situation! It was not controllable. You could get out of that "superstall", yes, but during the recovery you could do nothing else than hope that it stops!
