I would suggest a mounting plate inside the hull that way it will eliminate stress on the geartrack,,, Just my opinion..

What size and thread screw and nut is used to hold the T-track?

Nice I thing the landing gear have 1 mistake. When I load the kajak on my car the ruder hit the road. The arms of the landing gear must be Teleskopic for the car loading. Then is the landing gear perfect and I by one. Soory for the bad English. Wishes from Germany

I ordered the XL pro bar for the Titan 10.5. Seems like the bar is a little too long and doesn’t allow the wheels to rest on the top of the kayak when in stow away mode. Have you noticed this?

I have a Slayer Max Propel 10 and I'm a little confused about the difference between this landing gear and the other side kick. I probably should have done more research before buying the Side Kick to ensure it was the correct one for my model. They have slightly different installations; this requires drilling additional holes and the sidekick doesn't. I'm hesitant to start drilling holes if they aren't really necessary. Anyone know what the difference is between the two models of Native carts??

I had this original landing gear for the last 5 years and it works great. The one downside I can tell you first hand from this past weekend are the securing screws you tighten to keep the wheel bars secure. I never had a problem until my most recent trip while I was driving and the screw must of backed off due to bumps in the road. When I got to my destination one of my wheels/bar was gone. I purchased and installed the new sidekick. It appears just as durable. The bars that attach to the wheels are slightly longer allowing more ground clearance which is nice. The pins on top are a nice addition that gives some added security from your wheels falling off in transport. I was hesitant about drilling holes when installing the original landing gear but after 5 years I've had no issues with it and it gives a more secure connection to your kayak.

What landing gear do you recommend for Manta Ray Propel 12?

I have a Titan 13.5 and mine did not have a hole empty in the gear track. I just skipped the step as it looks like there is a spot on the trac with two bolts close together and put it in between these. Is that correct?

Anyone know where to get those slide rail screws for the gear Track?

That's awesome news after I drilled the hell out of my Slayer Propel 13...Great news for the new owners.

I don't have one in front of me but my guess would be that the whole kit is right around 12 pounds.

Great video my ? is if you have the landing gear on there like that it doesnt look like you could have a black pack in there even any way you can do a video with it loaded with gear and the landing gear thanks

You can get a black pack just behind the landing gear. It does depend on which boat you are mounting them. It only takes up a few inches of the stern storage recess.

My arm is too big to reach back in put on the washer and nut. Any ideas?

I see you have to drill does that void the warranty if done when you buy the Kayak?

Just to clarify, is this the same boonedox system, but with mounting hardware for the track system? Or is this made to fit N.W. ??

Yes but you may have to rearrange gear a little depending on your set up.

Native Watercraft cool I bought my native a few days ago and have yet to pick it up but I'm getting it this weekend. Got the black pack, pfd, and paddle and some accessories. Super stoked. I got a different cart but will probably return it for this one. Thanks for the clarification on all of this, there wasn't much Information available about if this worked or not.

really wanted to get this, but unfortunately it eliminates quite a bit of room for a fishing crate to sit up close to the seat. Since this is installed in the tracks with screws, it would be a major pain to install this to haul the kayak to the launch point, and then remove it again, so you can install your fishing crate. :(

Extra support of weight and boat combo, 'specially if you have a lot of gear in the boat during ground transport.

The kit that is designed for your boat would have included a 16 inch bar where as the Titan kit has a 27 inch bar

Why doesn't Native just instal the bolts from the factory regardless if the holes in the track are already there? It seems like an effort to save .50¢ on hardware, like a few other known flawed shortcomings such as the rear hatch on the Titan not sealing well at all. A pretty big let down for the amount of money people are dropping on your product and so proudly advertising "Made in USA" but not going all in for product satisfaction. At least Native realized how flawed the prototype rectangular hatch was and switched to a round hatch. $3300 is a lot to shell out for a Titan or anything for that matter that's priced in the top of its class and not rectify these things on future production models

We started installing the extra nuts at the factory when landing gear started to be used on our boats to add extra support but that doesn't help everyone who bought boats before there were landing gear. Before landing gear there was no need for installing all the screws.

ACTUALLY it's a bolt...not a screw!

I see a massive class action lawsuit coming! There's no way those groove tracks can support that much weight, plus the weight of all the gear a person usually carries. Those tracks will eventually rip right out!!! Great idea, but very badly designed!!!

I dont care for native at all, but you buying a product from them and then installing it yourself at home on your kayak, not one person nor a group will win a lawsuit over a damaged kayak. You fucking 🤡
