Thank you for sharing the list. It appears “spilling the tea” may be congruent to “spilling the beans” for if I am not mistaken,it’s an often used east coast phrasal verb. I don’t want to misinform anyone, but do correct me if I am wrong.😇

You're right, Drake would be an awesome teacher, he's smart, fun, articulate, and comes accross as a good person.
This is one of the best videos on slangs I've watched so far. I see that being a ESL speaker is really difficult to keep up with the trend. Whenever I start talking to a native I always have some vocab to catch up. Thanks for the updates. keep up with the great channel content!

I’m so happy to see Derek again 😃 In one of his previous videos he mentioned he had lost his job. I was worried he’d leave LA and never comes back. But luckily he’s surviving the economical setback and as he described himself, he’s such a positive thinker, so he’s helping this channel subscriber improve their English. Hang in there, Derek, the situation hopefully will be over soon. And as they say ‘we’re all in this together’ so let’s make the best of it. Actually because a lot of activities have stopped, some students have more time to learn English these days.

One or two. I find this use of American Slang fascinating. I am 67 1/2 years old and was born in Long Beach Calif. I am half Mexican and half Irish but I've always spoken American English. I might have heard one or two of these slangs but had no idea until now what they all meant.
It's amazing video. Please, more lessons with Drake:))
Thank you Lisa. This new lesson format is helpful.. It helps me focus and learn.
So cool Lisa, I heard most of them here and there or at movies, always tried to guess what they meant. Thank you for the video :)
