Those corporate events should be kept at stadium east

So because the MLS allows it, it should be acceptable for us? What happened to having standards? Booking the facility is barely the issue. We are having an issue with the eyesore that was left on the pitch! We don't have many stadiums here to host international events so you needed to include certain clauses in the agreement to ensure the surface/facility will not be defaced.

We don’t have any stadium in Jamaica like the Mls and they actually have up to date stadiums that they have the different fields and set up for hosting different events it’s certainly not the samething.

One suggestion came to mind. Why didn't they use chalk dust?. This is water based and could have easily been washed away with a spray of water. The event was only for a few hours so the lines did not need to have been done with paint.

I think Jamaica should construct a football only Stadium which should be used for National team football matches and Finals for JPL and SBF. Nothing more.

I think people are focusing on the wrong thing. We need more sporting facilities. Sports is a business and with all the real estate developments in Jamaica I am surprise no one has seen the opportunity to have more quality commercial sporting facilities for leasing. We have one deggae deggae stadium and it’s over 60 yrs old.

IPL needs i beaten i don’t care if Scotia Bank booked it first it should have been dealt with better than what was done imo it just shows how little you guys respect football on the island and the national team because stuff like these happen to both.

If the pain takes 5 days to disappear we should paint it 5 days in advance for that event so when the premier league game arrives the markings would be significantly less. The stadium needs money. Any means of revenue is important

On a serious note though, no fore planning has gone into improving and making the stadium more efficient. Cause why we using sand as he said and the lights, why havent we found a way to change the lights in a phased basis.

The point is, BNS come with them money and that's what mattered😅

100% Correct. Jamaica needs a stand alone Football stadium. No running track around the field. Maybe a 30 thousand seating. Something like MLS stadium.
