I believe Die Stem is a masterpiece. The lyrics express the true love to the country and the music is simply beautiful. Love from Poland

It's the ANC being a shit party I guarantee literally any other Anti-Apartheid movement would do a 100% better job for example I'm pretty COSATU had some national ambitions, they probably would have actually had full equality in South Africa unlike flipping Apartheid around to target the whites

It's such a shame that our once beautiful country is slowly but surely being run into the ground..like the rest of Africa.Eskom, SAA, Prasa, Postal service to name but a few.

Yes you are right! Everything is nice and clean. But what's with Apartheid? What's with the police terror against human rights activist. Because of the wrong Anc politics you don't have to glorify the old system. m.kzread.info/dash/bejne/k6GJ29iseMycpZM.html

Translate the Afrikaans lyrics into English, see how much different from the English subtitles shown. Example: the last line in Afrikaans translates to "Us for you, South Africa," not "our dear land, South Africa."

I think a good show of the ANC's intelligence was when a white agricultural analyst suggested that the government issue bonds in order to purchase land off farmers instead of just taking it, the speaker for the ANC then asked: "What are government bonds?" How can you be a political leader and not know what a bond is! You learn this in basic law school, heck you learn it in pre-university education it's despicable that we have near ape level politicians running a nation. South Africa doesn't exist anymore, the "rainbow nation" does and honestly, it can't hold a candle to the economic success of South Africa, maar ons sal lewe, ons sal strewe vir de hoop dat ons land Suid Afrika sal een dag terug kom.

@@JF-bv6vc Using data from South Africa's 1980 census1, roughly 21% of the White population and 22% of the Black population were enrolled in school. Differences in population distributions, however, mean that there were Black children of school age not enrolled in school. The second fact to consider is the difference in government spending on education. In 1982 the Apartheid government of South Africa spent an average of R1,211 on education for each White child, and only R146 for each Black child. The quality of teaching staff also differed - roughly a third of all White teachers had a university degree, the rest had all passed the Standard 10 matriculation exam. Only 2.3% of Black teachers had a university degree, and 82% had not even reached the Standard 10 matriculation (more than half had not reached Standard 8). Education opportunities were heavily skewed towards preferential treatment for Whites. People running the country went to school during the apartheid era. They were given bantu education which is rubbish. So I dont expect them to flourish because the education they recieved, set them up for failure. Snowball effect
