Interesting pair you two are. It’s this weird combo of uber business serious, and teasing/joking all mixed into one. It’s a really unique dynamic to see on film from the other side. Hells yes. Best surf intro.. So much fun you guys, and Mahina was such a natural doing interviews during the Backdoor event. Surprised WSL didn't offer her a contract, she would be such a great addition to their broadcasts. Also, Sorry to hear Nazare wasnt bombing, wo cool you were game for trying to make it happen.

Mahina so tough, the ultimate cool woman as she just naturally blends in with the crews, low-key but intelligent with her beautiful soft-parade that is "just there" effortlessly. Nathan has the swell wired and he's grateful for making huge slab waves because when you put in the work and place yourself at that certain time-space late barrel you're jazzed in this life. I remember an early morning 25' face wave. When you make it you're one of the few who understands exactly what Nathan means when he says it makes you so grateful. Mahalo.
