This was a classic scenario of new friends meeting old friends and the awkwardness that ensues from that. Yannis would bring up an old story about Nate that Aaron and Broccoli would already know about but they would pretend they hadnt just to be polite.

I started listening 2 or 3 weeks ago and have listened to every episode now. I have compiled a list of words Nate cannot pronounce. Benzodiazepine, please have Nate face all his nightmares at once: Civilizations Heretic Dylan Bartholomew Wooly Nicea Luxe Astronomer Meticulously Sullen Neanderthals I’ve found myself stumbling over words more these days so idk if that’s spuriously correlated or not, but keep up the good work guy, love it all.

I don’t comment on much of anything, but I can’t hold back. I’ve been a listener since episode 1, and I’m just 10 minutes into this episode, but it’s already the best yet. The dichotomy of Nate and Yannis is amazing. If they had never met doing comedy, there’s no way these personalities would be friends. I love History Hyenas and Nateland. The mashup is so good! Blanche and Aaron, keep up the good work. I look forward to Wednesday now, which is a sentence I hadn’t fathomed I would say at any time in the near future. Thank you

I listened to this episode this morning on Spotify and HAD to look at the video because I needed to see what yannis looked like. I pictured him as a 5’4” 100 pound guy with a very obvious receding hairline, based on his voice alone. It’s safe to say I’m very shocked that this is what he looks like. Also, shoutout to bramble berry crisp for always being so calm and keeping everyone on track, even when all they do is make fun of you. Wednesday’s are now my favorite because of y’all!

I grew up in the Finger Lakes in Upstate New York. That was basically like living at "camp". Once I moved to North Carolina I found that almost no one realizes that the whole state isn't like New York City. New York and New York City should be considered two different states. Thanks for the great episodes! Nate's one of my favorite comedians, and I've been enjoying Backhoe and the substitute teacher as well. Later, Folks!

I think we should do a New York part 2 because I think we didn’t get as much NY facts as we did Rhode Island. All that work Brian did and mostly wasn’t covered. Loved the interaction on the show with Giannis but I think NY didn’t get the justice it should’ve. Again I’m a Brooklyn fan so let’s talk about the bridge! The Yankees! Just stuff like that. Terri landed on the $1,000,000.00 space and got to pick up the tile, she was expressing her excitement and Pat said "It's real and it is spectacular". Crickets. Drew Carey was standing next to Teri and he missed it as well. My wife and I love the show and I have watched from the first episode. I just recently got her into it, and she is hooked. We love you guys, and find y’all to be so funny and enjoyable to listen to. Kind of felt like this episode was a bit of a step in the wrong direction. I think bringing on guests sounds fun, but they should mesh with y’all’s style, and be respectful and prepared. This probably would have been a better side episode with just Nate and Yannis - the subject of New York as a state was barely discussed and Aaron and Brian were mostly ignored.

Listen, I like the occasional guest and Yannis was great but I’d just like to say that the best laughs come from you three shooting the breeze, talking about dumb topics and razzing each other. Also, I’m coming to the defense of Bedtime and Aaron; they don’t chime in as much because there’s a guest not because they don’t have anything to say. See what you’ve done, I’m defending BREAKFAST of all people. I love you guys, please keep this going for a long time.

Can’t wait until you all do an episode on the state where you spend most of your time. The state of confusion.

I enjoyed this very much. I honestly haven’t sat down and been so deeply engrossed in something in a long time. I now wish I was from New York. What an excellent guest, I’d never heard of him before and I can’t wait to check his stuff out.

Nate's cackles sounds like Danny Devito's "panguin" cackle from the Batman. Also, Barbiturate seems to grow more impatient each episode when interrupted from reading his research.

I am a lifetime Texan, where we love our PROPERTY! I couldn't imagine living in such a large city where you are always surrounded by people. I don't think I would be as fakely nice if I had to put up with miscreant strangers 24/7! Loved the insight from Yannis, don't know a thang about the big apple so that was a nice cultural lesson for me. Wish I could've heard a little bit more out of Bright Eyes and Aaron though. Another great episode, keep up the good work Nate!

Nate seems so separated from other comedians, every time I hear about him hanging with these other comedians I’m always slightly shocked and intrigued. I love hearing the old comedy stories!

I also like how Aaron got called out in the comments for not talking, and then proceeded to talk the least he has on any episode.

Helix helped Nate sleep so soundly that he changed his entire outfit, even his hat, in the span of that 15 second ad read. Incredible sell. I instantly ordered dozens of mattresses, Helix should immediately promote you to Assistant to the Sales Manager. Kudos to Benis and Antoine as well, stay silly folks

Hey Nate, Aaron, and Bananagrams! Just started listening to this, but Nate's joke about what number you call about an eagle that's living nearby reminded me of the phone number of a big personal injury law firm here in Arizona. I grew up hearing their commercials all the time and will forever know that if I need help, I can always call 1-800-TheEagle.
