Monk Synopsis: Adrian Monk (Emmy®-winner Tony Shalhoub) was once a rising star with the San Francisco Police Department, legendary for using unconventional means to solve the department's most baffling cases. But after the tragic and still-unsolved murder of his wife, Trudy, the devastated Monk becomes obsessive-compulsive. His psychological disorder has caused him to develop an abnormal fear of virtually everything: germs, heights, crowds... even milk. Monk's condition costs him his job, but he's back as a police consultant despite the unique challenges he encounters in his everyday life. These challenges lead Monk to hire a personal nurse, Sharona Fleming (Bitty Schram), who is always there to offer her assistance, even with the simplest of tasks (like organizing his sock drawer). Her less-than-subtle prodding keeps the "defective detective" on track in his investigations, as well as in his efforts to convince Captain Stottlemeyer (Ted Levine) to allow him to return to the force.

While I loved Sherona's constant digs and complaining, it was Natalie's relationship with Monk that I truly believe kept the series going ( wish it had never ended). Peanut butter and jelly.

It was a very smart move for the writers to make Natalie’s personality very different from Sharona’s. They both interact with Monk in wonderful, different ways.
"He told you? Just like that? Oh that's right...you're cute" lol why have I never noticed this Monk line before it's amazing

And it's pretty accurate.
Not wanting to touch the envelope Natalie licked is hilarious. His face is priceless🤣🤣
My favorite Natalie scene of all time is from the episode where her daughter, Julie, is in a play. A critic’s review of the play includes a very negative review of Julie’s brief scene where she sings. Natalie asks Julie to sing in front of the detectives to show that the negative review of Julie’s wonderful singing proves the critic could not possibly have seen Julie sing.
Everybody gangsta until a video comes out titled “Natalie’s best moments season 1”

@@SF-pj6xv that’s the joke. Everybody is laughing and stuff until they make a video about her in season 1, and the reason behind that is because she isn’t in season 1.

@@kenobi52 I can imagine this comment thread being an actual conversation between Natalie and Monk 😆 Natalie: "People will be freaked out when they see what I was like in the first season." Monk: "But... you weren't... *in* the first season." Natalie: "I know, Mr. Monk... That's the joke." Monk: "I don't get it..."
I enjoyed the “Mr. Monk Gets Cabin Fever” moment where she chimes in with asking if the wife took out an insurance policy with an act of God clause and would get double payout.😉

Natalie was great!
monk and natalie are my comfort characters
I hope they're making these videos because they're going to bring the show back.. this show came out when I was much younger and I didn't watch it till recently (age 34). I watched every episode and now I'm a fan. It will be so great if they bring it back. Monk is hilarious. ☺️

She is what he needed
“Every man’s bent antenna diminishes me.” Classic Monk philosophy right there.
Poor Mr. Monk. He has 30 smoke detectors in his home, and oddly enough, NONE of them went off when his garbage can caught on fire. No wonder he takes ALL of them to the fire department to have them PROFESSIONALLY checked every year! 🤨

She is Absolutely Beautiful
Ms. Howard is so cute! To shake her hand would make my day.
the best performance comes when Nathalie wets Monk's whistle with her mouth to keep him from breaking her ears
She is a beauty
lol @ "Stay here ... stay ... good boy!"
Season 3's Natalie had a lot more spunk than the later seasons.
Natalie was fun to watch with Monk Especially when she says You have got to be the cheapest man I have ever met along with other things

I don’t wanna talk about Mr. Magoo anymore.
Her first season
I had a crush on Natalie. Sharona let Monk walk over her with his "here's the thing," and would bury her face when people made fun of him. When people made fun of Monk in front of Natalie, she would get in their face. And when Monk would say "here's the thing" to Natalie, she would cut him off and say, "No! Here's the thing!" Sharona enabled Monk. Natalie made him a better person.

They both helped him out tremendously lol and made him better. Sharona helped Monk in the early stages, and Natalie helped Monk in the later stages. Sharona was a registered nurse, so that’s what he needed first to get out of bed after Trudy’s death. Natalie wasn’t a nurse, but she was a devoted assistant and understood him well. Her style helped keep Monk on his feet after Sharona left.

Pran P., I was just about to say the same thing. As a nurse, Sharona was cognitively more in tune with Monks feelings. Natalie had a much more " I'm a rich girl and when I say jump you jump" attitude.

@@mousetreehouse6833 i disagree with that too. Natalie cared about him too and also innately knew when it was right to push him to do things and when it was maybe not the right time to push him.

2:58-3:04 Monk starts to feel....
Love her and Monk together!
Why are there no more seasons and episodes of MONK?! The role of his life by Tony Shalhoub-right after Peter Falk COLUMBO!
Moore moore moore of Natalie's best. Traylor ist just wonderful.
Love nat!
Wooooow! Greaaaaat! So kiiind... 🌺🌞🙏🏼🌿 🤓🌼😇💖
Does anyone think the way I do that Monk and Natalie eventually we're going to get married? because in the final episode Natalie is basically an equal partner with Monk: she doesn't stand behind anymore ,she takes the lead and in a very early episode with Natalie he makes a comment that she looks a bit like Trudy.
I think what Iiked about natalie is that she was sweet and kind and very thoughtful of monk and those around her but she didn't let monk push her around or always give in to him. I feel like he was someone monk needed. She was always trying to find the brighter side of things when monk was down and then tried her best to push him beyond his limits but could recognize when it was too much for him.
I love everything about her.
I enjoyed Natalie in motorcycle and monk behind jaaaaaaa
Love Natalie. I need an assistant like her.
Natalie is the best character after Monk. So sweet and good.
Ok, and how about Sharona's best scenes??🤨🤔😀
Just love the relationship between Natalie and Monk
