A very touching and poignant tribute...Well done...Just reminds us how nothing lasts forever--even the greatest of the country stars who gave us so much pleasure...Lesson? Have a good time here, and make other people remember you when you're gone!

Sadly Johnny Paycheck passed away with not one penny left. He died at at State Run nursing home in Nashville. George Jones, Marty Stuart and several others stepped in and paid for his funeral. ....

A Nashville TV reporter recently said prior to George Jones' death, he bought 60 cemetary plots near his plot. Thirty for family and thirty for "penniless musicians and singers". RIP Possum. You are so missed :(

The reason the grave seems to be so far away from other graves is that it may be in the "public" section where people can buy just one grave. Many of these people have no relatives and are buried with no stone or marker, so its possible there are many others buried near him but not marked.

I find it very, say, disrespectful to her fans that her family changed Tammy's name on her grave. I'm an artist, and I mostly draw portraits of her, and one day I decided I was going to take one to her grave. Well, I looked around for two hours because the man at the registry desk said her grave had "Tammy Wynette" and a picture of her on it. I found no tomb with any of that. I decided to go back the next week and look by the dates and I finally found it. I guess I'm a really determined TW fan.

Wrong Douglas Patterson !! There is no heaven as of now..Heaven will be here on earth soon.Until then we don't know what kind of music will be heard on God's kingdom.Question..How does anyone know that there want be ANY kind of music in paradise?..Also what if Jesus likes country music? We don't know that do we?..All the bible says is to "make a joyfull noise to the Lord".Tom T. Hall had a country hit "Me And Jesus" which talks about a sinner getting save at a tree stump.I do belive that there are a lot of people who JUDGE here on earth !! That to me is something God don't want anyone to do but himself.Nothing of evil will be in heaven..Country music is not evil,it's a joyful noise..RAP !!! is not music, and it is not a joyful noise to some, but who am I to judge !! But I will agree to praise God the father & Jesus Christ who is the one and only king !! Amen
