Sad to think that these ladies had such glamorous lives and some of their plaques are so plain and downright sad! I was amazed at Farrah Fawcett's had no inscription at all... Everyone should have some sentiment on their plaques, their final resting place! Thanks for the clip!

Some people don't want a lot of money spent on their funerals. I have made my intentions clear to my loved ones - cheapest option. Nothing fancy. Don't spend money on unnecessary stuff. I'm gone. It's just the package I came in that's left. Doesn't matter what you do with it but preferably donate my usable organs and then cremation. Scatter my ashes. Don't waste money on an urn.

That is just so sad! I was just thinking that very same thing as I was watching this. Also Farrah's death was overshadowed by Micheal Jackson's. Because of that they didn't even acknowledge Farrah's. She was just as important as he was in the entertainment industry. Only my opinion. May she and Michael rest in peace

Not true! God saw fit 2 have Enoch and Elijah taken to heaven by a whirlwind. No death for them yet. I believe that they will be the two witnesses just prior to Jesus Second Coming announcing to the world that it is time. They will prophesy from the street protected somehow by the Almighty until finally even they will die out. FYI

Heather was a good childhood friend of mine, our families met while on vacation at a beach. Even though we lived forever apart we always kept in touch, she was also 2 years older than me. Very sad to see the graves of many actresses I admired but I was in a minor state of shock upon seeing Suzanne Pleshette had passed away. I didn't know. She was really a big part of my growing up as she was always on TV shows we watched and I thought she was so beautiful and funny. I can't hold back the tears. some of the graves looked neglected such small headstones for such famous people so sad I know that here in Ireland no matter how poor you are or not even well know or famous a proper headstone is always erected not just a stone in the ground it must be an American thing .R.I.P to all those who have passed on and thank you for showing this.

+Colette Fleck // Here is the US, many cemeteries are changing to a flat, ground level headstone. It makes maintenance easier as they just run the lawn mower over all the graves. You must ask at the cemetery office about trimming the grass and other questions. Obtaining a headstone is usually up to the family, as is the content (inscription.) If one served in the military, the government will usually supply the flat headstone, but not the cost of installing it. These things are usually arranged at the mortuary that was used.

Personally, I like the signature tombstones without the birth and death it appears as if the stars are still with us. For example, Edie Adams' signature and Greta Garbo's signature you can tell the creative nature even in their signature.

+Moe C // Yes, you can choose your headstone, and anything else you want, in advance. It's good to tell your family. It's especially good to tell it in detail to the ones who will bury you. (Wife, husband, etc.) But it's BEST to get it recorded in advance at the mortuary you will use. Get it on accurately on paper and signed. It may not be required to make a deposit, but if you can, it's a good thing to do. (I retired from the mortuary business.)

Garbos stone is made of swedish Älvdalskvartsit. In a style that was created by the architect behind the place she has her grave, Skogskyrkogården in Stockholm. She has a little hill of her own. You can check it out on youtube

I have someone who is my legally-appointed executor and I've left specific written directions about my cremation/scattering and where my belongings are to go. The person who will take care of this will be well-paid from my estate for taking care of those tasks. It feels so good to have these matters already taken care of as much I can take care of them.

@@royalclass23548 Deputy sheriff in TENNESSEE threated to put a man in a mental hospital because he was standing on a sidewalk in front of a VIETNAM memorial and he was looking up toward the sky saying a silent prayer and the deputy said people will think your crazy for talking to something that's not there so take your ass home and don't let me catch you out when I am on duty,
