It always amazes me the effort to catch carp in Europe. Here in Wisconsin they're so unpressured I just put corn directly onto the hook and that's it on a carolina rig. Very simple here.

The attraction is catching the wary fish. The harder the water, the better the catch

I went fishing the other weekend and the fish weren't biting on bottom put two rods on the zigs and had 5 fish in an hour.

Well if its blunt change it sharp hook is key to better hook ups and I use my little nash hook doctor and have 6 rigs tied and just chop and changed

Yea man well I've brought alot of packs of hooks I'm not gonna chuck a hook away ever take 10 takes cost me 6 quid each

Whats the need for all the extra bits of metal and plastic and other none edible baits and shite if it was my fishery nobody would be fishing with screws and plastic fish welfare is the most important thing
