I saw that the IMSA race was in Watkins Glen yesterday!

You would think that they would’ve pulled the plug with how long the rain delay was and the good chunk of laps that were left right? Glad they stuck it out and finished the damn thing. Goes to show you why NBC is and always be better than Fox as this year’s Coke 600 proves a perfect example of that

I’ve never understood nascar, I’m British, rain is second nature drivers should adapt to conditions presented in front of them if their elite racing drivers 😅

The majority of the schedule are on banked ovals, and high speeds at that. New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Richmond, Martinsville are the only ovals that could be run in light rain/damp conditions. It really doesn't rain when NASCAR is at Phoenix raceway. Everything else is too high banked and/or fast to do it.

Hopefully it will not be too much longer that the drivers can race in the rain more comfortably at some tracks!
