Just recorded and edited my own Richmond Race Review tonight. Will be uploaded in the morning! I’m an AD3 fan but this was the correct call. Had they not done anything let alone gave him a slap on the wrist, it would’ve encouraged more drivers to pull the same move as in wrecking 2 people to win a race. I’ve been a NASCAR fan for 23 years and I’ve NEVER seen anything as blatant and egregious as THAT! And yes I agree with everything you said about the spotter. Don’t fuckin’ do that 🙄🤦♂️ Just do your damn job and not become a fan while doing so even if it’s heat of the moment type stuff *SMFH*

Austin Dillon’s penalty is the biggest penalty in 2024 since the Team Penske Push 2 Pass penalty from St. Pete where Josef Newgarden was stripped from the win, Scott McLaughlin being stripped from 3rd place and Will Power being penalized 10 points What Joey Logano did was dangerous and personally, NASCAR needs family members (spouses and children) and sponsors in the grandstands or in the suites not in the pits because it gets hectic. I’ve gotten kicked out of the pits during Xfinity qualifying at Homestead 2016 (I was 17 years old at the time, now I am 25 years old) where I wasn’t in harm’s way.

Definitely the biggest penalty in NASCAR in a long time. Glad it didn't take as long as the Indy car penalty though!

I was hoping Austin would win, but not the way he did. The win and playoff spot should be taken away. His spotter should be fined and suspended. Also Joey Lagano should be fined for his chickenshit move on pit road. I cannot believe no one is talking about Joey's actions on pit road.

I’m an Austin fan myself, I initially was excited in the heat of the moment and didn’t think anything of how ugly that was. After I was finally calm hours later, I had time to think about it and watch it over and over again and yeah, I’ve changed my mind on that even though he’s my driver and like you said, he was originally gonna win it regardless on speed as a runaway till the Stenhouse caution happened and without that happening, this controversy doesn’t exist which is why we can’t have nice things. Guess we’ll find out later on today how NASCAR will handle it with any possible penalties and if he gets some sort of penalty, I won’t even be angry because I’ll know that it’ll be rightfully deserved. But if he doesn’t, then so be it but at the same time I also wouldn’t agree with the call though the only I’ll say IF it doesn’t come to that is be better when you’re in position to get win #6 in the future! Logano has definitely run into the back of guys. After looking at more replays it seems like Dillon and Hamlin collided more so than it was a hook from Dillon.

Should’ve seen this coming after Rodney Childers was announced as crew chief for this ride next year! I thought he lost the ride today but I was mistaken as I misread the story so at least he’ll get to finish the season in the #7. As a Kyle Busch fan, how would you feel if your boy was tapped to replace him to correlate with his Craftsman Truck duties with the team?

Felt refreshing to watch NASCAR again! Pretty enjoyable race and very fun to watch! The NASCAR Refball BS at the end however really pissed me off but at the same time, I sorta understand since they didn’t want Nashville 2.0 which would’ve meant more yellows and crashes and people running out of gas. I at least would’ve loved to have seen another restart just to add to the excitement with the fuel mileage to see an interesting winner. Oh well I guess! Not to mention I thought of you when KFB wrecked and I can’t help but feel bad for you! Hang in there Alex! It’ll be nice to take a break for 2 weeks to recharge but you know damn well it’s gonna go by fast! Looking forward to Richmond with the tire option to see if it makes the racing product a little bit better than what we saw on Easter! Glad you went to that race! I am trying to go to either Charlotte Roval or Atlanta this year. I like the unlimited overtime attempts and hope they don’t change it back. Excited to see Penske get all three cars in but now let’s see if Busch can turn this around! The team going through constant changes at the beginning of the season has hurt them in their progress I think.
