I loved playing the Wii version of this game and going to Bristol with no flags. I created a traffic jam for almost 200 laps once!

I did this as well, I would win by like 8 laps and wreck the field every lap

I grew up playing this game on a really old box tv. I thought it was fun and the physics were strangely good.

I think part of the reason his handling was so easy was because he used a gamecube controller. I think the wii remote makes that a lot different.

In my opinion the wii version is way better than the PS3 and Xbox 360 version

NASCAR Inside Line on the Wii… it truly was a game of all time

One special thing about this game is that since the AI is on rails if you restart a race they will have the same exact race. Like if they wreck and so on.

This game was my game on the wii. So many memories, I even surpassed Richard Petty with my 201 win at Darlington with my crew chief saying "You just broke the record for the most wins in Nascar buddy." Currently I left the game with 221 wins in total.

Fast load times, awesome replays, multiple schemes, and that car map at the bottom is AWESOME ... perfect for any nascar game where programing spotter dialogue is kind of a pain...

make a career mode series with this **NOW**

Fun fact: if you look closely, most easily seen in the daytona race, the cars always start in number order if you don't have qualifying

i love how the starting order is based on car numbers

from the looks of the game alone, i can tell that the cars would feel incredibly light

I put an insane amount of hours into NTG2011 on the Wii. Good times

NASCAR 2011 on the WII was my childhood game! I eventually got Inside Line but 2011 was my childhood game.

I unironically got into NASCAR because of this game. I always played with a Nunchuck. I thought it looked so much better. Yeah now I ball out on some iRacing

I grew up with this game, and it was amazing! The crashes were funny as heck.

The graphics, the way the camera bobbles during replays, and the way the cars are during replays makes my brain think I'm watching an NR2003 video

My first ever NASCAR game was NASCAR unleashed, but my first ever somewhat serious NASCAR game was this one. As a child not knowing that the Xbox and PlayStation existed, these graphics were the best I’ve seen ever😂.

A few years later, I saw a game that came out before Inside Line, NASCAR: The Game 2011, being played on the Xbox. The graphics looked so awesome to me, so I bought it for my Wii thinking I would have the graphics. The disappointment I faced was immeasurable. Fortunately, it redeemed itself when I saw they implemented Carl Edwards backflip.

My favorite KZreadr and my favorite game growing up, today is a good day

Dude this was straight up the first nascar game I ever played

Ngl a season mode of this game as a lets play or a career sounds quite hilarious and fun lol

I still play this sometimes. racing with the wii wheel is near impossible but the wrecks in this game are pretty hilarious

Somehow I got pretty good at using the Wii wheel as I never bothered trying any other type of controller configuration.

This game is a diamond in the rough fr, career mode would be quite good to watch

Get this man in a cup car! I want to see if his racing skills from Nascar on the wii transfer over to the real world.. i have a sneaky feeling it just might 😏

Unlike the actual Wii console, this game runs at a stable framerate on Dolphin

This is the best version of this game and its not even close

This is how I played Nascar. With a Wii wheel and Cardboard box, I sit in that I colored to match Jimmie Johnsons car

If you plan to play this a second time, please play the highlights mode, in the Wii version the AI have no physics and it is hilarious

Thinking back on this game, I’m remembering how AWFUL the plate racing was because the AIs couldn’t draft off of each other so there were no packs lmaooo

when you were driving around Bristol at night the game looks something like NR2003

I played this game for 5 years before I started getting NASCAR games yearly once they came to the PS4. Only had 1 win.

Please do a career mode on this

Doggg, this game has so many funny glitches (such as the ai braking at talladega and being able to go full throttle all the way around Atlanta and Las Vegas). I still play it today sometimes and it’s still fun for me.

If you revisit this game: There's a glitch where if you get terminal damage, then enter pit lane incorrectly (enter past the commitment cone or go in the wrong way), you'll get sent to the void (assuming the game doesn't crash)

Oh man, I had this game and a NASCAR branded wheel, the best!

THIS GAME HERE GOT ME IN NASCAR

I have the actual wii game and I play it on my Wii U all the time, (pairing an uncommon game with what will eventually become a rare console must make the combination rarer?). I got so good at it that I am winning semi consistently in my rookie season… using a wii wheel and I recently switched to the hardest difficulty because it was getting boring. Can’t use no tc and no abs yet though as the Wii remote is a bit limited on control in that respect but I might experiment in the future. Great to see someone playing that game as it is one of the best Wii racing games outside of Mario kart Wii. It’s always fun to crash in the game too as the other cars have no concept of what it means to avoid a wreck or slow down… makes for some pretty hilarious crashes. Been my go to NASCAR game as it has a pretty decent amount of features and great multiplayer split screen functionality.

The wii and nascar was a weird time to be alive

To be fair you can play online with other people on netplay mode and it will count as splitscreen on dolphin

One thing people don't like that I find amazing to detail is that it's really hard to bump draft just like irl 2012 season because nascar made so it was more difficult. Just watch the Budweiser shootout of that year and you will see what I mean

This was the one I grew up with. Smaller me thought I'd experience true wheel motion by using the wiimote lmfao.

I used to played this a lot

Its so wierd how the graphics are different on different consoles

The best part about the games was the Wii wheel because you could actually tandem draft and actually take corners well

It looks similar to nascar thunder 2003 or Chase for the cup 2005 on Nintendo GameCube.
