Nas Shares CLASSIC Stories On 2Pac, Foxy Brown, Amy Winehouse + Speaks On New Rappers & Album

Музыка

God's Son returns with a brand new album titled 'King's Disease'. One day before its release he stops by Ebro in the Morning to speak about the inspiration behind his brand new album, and working with brand new artists such as Lil Dirk and Fivio Foreign.
Nas also shares classic stories about his past beefs with 2Pac and Prodigy, working with The Firm, including reconnecting with Cormega and Foxy Brown, Amy Winehouse and whether there are some unreleased music in the vaults, whether the depiction of himself on the Netflix movie 'Roxanne Roxanne' was true, the story behind 'Shark Ni***s', and a lot more!
Nasty Nas also broke down some of his ventures, including the reason behind getting involved with Mass Appeal.
'King's Disease' is set to be released Friday, August 20.

I just love Nas. He's so calm, the way he talk about his life. He's a great man, I always looked at him like someone I can trust. A genius, a poet. Never commercial, never sold his soul over money. He's real. Since the beginning. Since live at the barbecue, since illmatic till king's disease. A true poet. Nasty Nas in your area, 'bout to cause mass hysteria. Thank you Nasir, from the bottom of my braveheart, peace ✌🏽

You can feel the pain in Nas' voice when he's talking about Prodigy. Yes I had always heard the whole QB clique would always have internal beef in the hood. But out of town, CNN and their guys, Mobb Deep and their team, Bravehearts and their set would team up and cause serious damage to folks. I'm glad he was able to at least patch things up somewhat with Prodigy before he passed.

It's hard when you got different crews from the hood all coming up in different stages of their career....and people on the outside probably was putting fuel to the fire which creates the rumors and the subtle tension. On the low they all loved each other but being young didn't know how to express it to one another because of where they were from. To have so many artist come up out of a project like Queensbridge is crazy and inspiring. it's dope to hear that prodigy was going to have TV show because he is so knowledgeable about a lot of subject matter that the world would have been blessed to gain from.

It’s cool to hear Nas tell a story, it shows how clear his mind and perspective is cause you get a sense of how he writes his narrative by the way he iterates his story. I image him in the studio listening to a beat chopping it up with the fellas relating a story in his life that syncs with the beat and makes a masterpiece of it. Whether its the good or the dark side of his life there’s no judgement because it comes from a place where most people don’t have the courage to go and that’s his TRUTH. Much respect the GOAT!!!

One of the best... for his style he's the best but for just pure for the streets you got to look at Pac and big and I think Redman and Scarface eightball and MJG like these dudes are real mother f****** e 40 especially E-40 and there's just several others that absolutely murdered .. AZ who Nas kind of s*** on them, him and cormega. He absolutely could have made the firm explode feel that is one flaw in the way he treated AZ and cormega And prodigy at one point.. but that boy could go

@@jameserath4192 I don’t listen to hip hop for the streets. Im a huge bill fan, but he can’t be mentioned in the same breath as Nas and Big is the most overrated rapper ever. Pac I have as second best, but if you have him as #1 that’s.a good choice too, can’t go wrong with either one. Nas was on every az album up till aziatic. It’s not nas job to make firm explode. To me he’s just the best to ever do it, especially with garbage music out now, he shines even more.
