Holy shit no wonder connections is so hated. It was supposed to be the ultimate way to play all storms and it turned out to be a ducking downgrade. All they had to do was copy paste, make it look a bit better, add some quality of life improvements and bam. But too much work apparently.

Dude all I wanted was story content that was missed in previous games like: Land of Waves, Chunin Exams corrections + QTEs, FULL Sasuke Retrieval with Sound 4 now being playable, Sasuke vs Killer Bee, which Ultimate Ninja Clash had with a full QTE... and also proper Kakashi death like in the anime Would be nice to have the Creation of the Akatsuki and Shisui's story bundled in too Additionally, Storm 4 had slideshow cutscenes because of time constraints, there are unfinished cutscenes in the files which could've been finished for this game because who the fuck likes slideshows? In conclusion... we don't live in the same times as we used to and so CC2 is pumping out half baked garbage... this game had a shit ton of potential too what a shame...

Storm 4 is the better one. However, don’t forget that Storm 4 also had a lot of those anime slides in the story. Storm 4 also came out before the anime ended. Keep that in mind.

Well thats ironic, when connections was first announced we all thought wow they are going to bring all of the original games into one and add those cinematics they planned for 4... Little did we know, tbf storm 4 was an all round disappointment in terms of presentation, wasn't really impressed with any of the cinematics anyway, looked like garbage with a dirty filter all over it

If Storm Connections was more like Storm 4 then it would have better results

The worst thing about connection is its English dub and those power point presentation

Bruh why change to slideshows though? If they’re just gonna copy paste a game, might as well make it a better or an exact copy-paste instead of a shitter copy version of the original. Like everything’s already been made (from previous STORM games) they just needed to implement them into CONNECTIONS. That might have at least made the CAD $79.99 they’re charging for the game a bit more worth it. I know they can do better because they did amazing in developing the Original Story Mode. I think that’s the only good thing about this game.

I can understand why bandai didn’t include those it probably would have been a bit more difficult to upgrade those cinematic sences to modern hardware and connections was more of a celebration to the storms series so i think we can let it slide but hey that’s why KZread is there were you can watch it

I wouldn’t call it that animating scenes for a video game is pretty difficult and think bandai is making it themselves is easier by just making animated scenes in the special story and some pictures from the anime are nice

Storm Connections has cleaner quick time events, but due to all of it cutscenes being the pictures from the anime, Storm 4 wins

Storm 3 or storm 4. I never played a Naruto game & would like some input on what's better. 🤔

Storm 3 is more emotional and engaging than Storm 4. Storm 4 doesn't have certain features that made Storm 3 and Storm 2 fun in story mode. Not only that, both Storm 2 and Storm 3 don't use slideshows for cutscenes like Storm 4 does. Storm 3 came out before the anime finished so it has a different non canon ending. Storm 2 and Storm 3 have some non canon fights as opposed to Storm 4 but they're extremely emotional and it's beautiful. So get Storm 3 first and Storm 4 later if you couldn't care less about slideshows.

Storm 4 has better PVP and a great story, b 3 has a much heavier focus on story too. 4 has a lot of image scenes, but nothing like connections....

I have played so much storm 4 connections is definitely a big down grade. supports have s. the bounce back in nonsensical. It's so spam heavy and storm games are quite literally spam heavy. still no rollback. had they slapped a ps5 upgrade with rollback I would've bought season passes and allat

Bandai forced CC2 to make Connections, CC2 was done with Naruto post Road to Boruto. But Bandai wanted money. 2.) The focus of Connections is the new story, not the history mode. The history mode is there because the new story gives a small sample of what was once there. Yes the previous games do it better but Connections is meant to be focusing on the new not the old. And nobody will take your opinion seriously on a game you've never played.

Am I the only one who thinks Connections is better than Storm 4?

I understand why the differences. Storm 4 is focusing the Story so they need a good animation scene and Connections is a reminders only what happen in storm 4 so not a big deal to get that animation scene its ok the slide show to remind us. In additional the connection have more characters and new story than storm 4. Thats enough!!!

Fax honestly it’s getting unnecessary hate it’s called history mode for a reason if they animated everything that had already been done there wouldn’t be a point at that point it’s a waste let’s be fully honest tho even if they did animate it properly people would still hate on the game for stupid reasons

Even if Connections is trash in terms of Singleplayer they could have atleast made the Multiplayer okish but they had to rework the combat system. I cant enjoy this game anymore. Storm 1 and 2 were pretty lacking in combat since you just had to spam ur trigger buttons faster then the enemy and you have a huge advantage but with Generations they brought more into it and in Storm 4 they perfected it. Now they just reorked it again and rebinded it for no reason. Its not like the controls were hard to begin with they didnt have to make it more noob friendly.

Storm 4 better tbh but I didn’t want to buy connections to play the old fight again ( I have storm 4 downloaded)
