I was in narita last Tuesday in terminal 2 cause I was headed home. Have never been to terminal 3 before but it looks really nice. Another awesome video john. Keep up the great work.

Hi John. I'm in Tokyo just a day before you. The Intl. Custom is still under construction and vary humid for those who are arriving from the USA. About our the Sim card we purchased one from the stand you checked out. I was told that the Wifi is on all the time (not). I am currently in Koyoto and still not able to get it to work. Others should verify that it works as that sim card asks for a password they didn't give us. Beware!

Pocket WIFI.... I always got the SIM Card.. perhaps i'll try that the next time! Funny thing...The last time i touched down i went to rent a phone - it worked Flawlessly. Upon my leaving i went to return it.. The lady behind the counter told me it was mine to keep! I must've not read the contract! I have it to this day as a souvenir. Thanks for the tip.

The good thing is that prices are going down and speeds going up! The ONLY problem with pocket wifi is that it relies on a battery that is usually short. Pocket wifi relies on the same 4G signal so it’s not any more powerful. Good topic to discuss!! Many people have this question.

For that price I think I would have went for the udon!

21:30 here in Australia lots of Caucasians took the chopstick bit too seriously... like a plate of fried rice, they can use chopstick to pick up grain by grain but the Asian in me not sure if I should say to them chopstick and rice only with bowls not plate.... for rice on plate, we use chopstick and spoon or fork and spoon.....

It’s a hard call, do you say something? 🤔 if they’re happy, maybe not. That’s right - it can seem condescending if they give you a spoon for fried rice and you think- is it because I’m a westerner?! 😂 when I first came to Japan, I remember trying to eat curry rice with chopsticks, looked over and saw everyone using a SPOON!! Hahaha!!

As someone living in UK your data/sims are so expensive !!!! My current network (giffgaff) offers unlimited everything (that is uk text AND calls too ) for £25 that's about 3500 yen for 30 days

Good question! I think it’s quite a hike for terminal 3!! Takes 20 min to the runway.

Because is cheaper but there was a time when it was cut off and the quality got better they say. Domestic unagi is 4x the price. I don’t eat it often to once a month is enough :) it’s a luxury.

I was there a couple months ago and that food court was *packed*. I ended up just going to the Lawson that was there and getting a couple onigiri instead.

My parents road that train. 8 grand per person. Expensive and luxurious.
