Narcissist Survivor's REACTION to ALL TOO WELL - The Short Film - Taylor Swift

Фильм және анимация

The song has been my favorite song since I first heard it in 2013 so I was beyond excited when she said she was releasing a 10 minute version. This short film did not disappoint. I've listened to the song numerous times since and each time I discover a new heart wrenching and beautiful aspect of it.
I can't get enough of it. Just beautiful. Even now I'm thinking about the song and I'm wishing that I would have said more in this reaction.
This song takes you on a journey and even if you've never experienced a love like this you will feel like it by the end of the song.
Thank you for watching!

Forgot to mention the part where she talks about him charming her Dad but then her Dad saw her heartbroken at her birthday party over him 😢🥺. That got me too xoxo

I think the "twin flame" reference is they are both Sagittarius which is the fire sign. She even references it in State of Grace lyrics, "just twin fire signs, 4 blue eyes"

@@CaitlinMaharg11 24:57 "and i was never good at telling jokes.." this part is a callback to one of her song, i don't remember the lyric but it basically says that he doesn't think she's good at making jokes so this lyric is like her getting back at him

Thank you! This song doesn't cause the pain it once did. I know I'm crying but it's not from pain of the past it's just the song is so beautiful. I can't help but put myself in this situation and seeing the acting and the course of it hits me hard. Thank you again and your sweet encouraging words. I'm so much happier on this journey of life without crappy toxic people in it. I can't wait to receive what I'm deserving of 🤗

"They say all's well that ends well, But I'm in a new hell every time you double-cross my mind" is the new (2nd) best line in the 10 minute version. The best line (in TSwift's discography) remains "And you call me up again, Just to break me like a promise, So casually cruel in the name of being honest, I'm a crumpled up piece of paper lying here"

@@CaitlinMaharg11 "Your Brooklyn broke my skin and bone. I'm a soldier who's returning half her weight" They were in Brooklyn when they were together. People when you love someone you're taking half of their weight so after they broke up, she's feeling she just lost half of hers. Some even say that maybe she had a eating disorder after it, i'm not sure about that one

wow I don´t know why, but with the things you said I must think of my mother. she is really a narcissist and the reason why I have social anxiety and depression. she does always the hot and cold thing but in a different way as a lover to me. now I live in my own flat and broke up our contact and I´m happier now.

I’ve been in a relationship with a narcissist and to me Taylor is the narcissist. Controlling the narrative, overreacting, giving just one side of the story and stating that’s an objective truth, promoting cyber-bulling, making another video about the same subject, come on.

Narcissists don’t take accountability, and as a survivor you probably should know that. Meanwhile she has tons of songs where she either admits she’s been wrong sometimes, or expresses her insecurities and fears. Do you want some examples? Fine. Back To December. The Archer. Afterglow. Getaway Car. Midnight Rain. I Knew You Were Trouble (“the blame is on me”, “shame on me”). Call It What You Want (“at least I did one thing right”). Dear John (“maybe it’s me and my blind optimism to blame”). White Horse (“maybe I was naive”). Anti-Hero. Would’ve Could’ve Should’ve (“I regret you all the time”). Out Of The Woods (“but the monsters turned out to be just trees”). You’re Losing Me (“I wouldn’t marry me either, a pathological people pleaser”). Trust me, I could go on. Have you ever considered the fact that Taylor might be a survivor just like you trying to talk about her experience and to feel heard? Maybe she’s made this short film to empathise with people who have been in her same situation, to let them know that they’re not alone.
