Sometimes you don’t have to go very far to find the #bestplaces on earth. I always wanted to visit #nantucket off the coast of #capecod and wow, it’s way out there, an hour #ferry off the coast!
 I had no idea it was once the #whale #whalesailer capital of the world when #whales oil was a major fuel for #lamps in the #1800s . So cool. I love that. This little #island is perfectly preserved in time and you’re immediately thrown back into the #colonialera when you visit!
