One of the best spots to do this is at any of the three historic lighthouses: Brant Point Lighthouse, Great Point Lighthouse, and the Sankaty Head Light. Other places to immerse yourself in nature include any of the picturesque Nantucket beaches and Sconset Bluff Walk. Head to Sanford Farm or Bartlett’s Farm for locally grown produce and farm-to-table fare. If there’s one thing Nantucket is short of, it sure isn’t history.
This island has been settled since the 1600s and boasts all manner of historical buildings and museums full of authentic artifacts. Head to the Old Mill to watch corn kernels being ground into flour. Visit the various venues run by the Maria Mitchell Association, from a working space observatory to an aquarium and natural science museum. Learn about Nantucket's 400 years of whaling history at the Nantucket Whaling Museum.
If you’re looking for things to do in Nantucket outside of history and nature, catch a film or theater production at the nonprofit Dreamland Film and Performing Arts Center or hit one of the four well-maintained golf courses on the island. This is just a sample of the things to do in Nantucket for visitors worldwide. There are countless more shopping trips, culinary adventures, and cultural marvels in the area.

im going to Nantucket on July 22-24th this year. im super excited, ill be staying in Hyannis on the mainland and ferrying in. I really wanted to see 3 light houses, 2 shores, and 1 Nantucketer when i go. That light house really far away is gonna be difficult i think

@@Ethan-dd4ln when i went my first time, ive gone 2 times since and ive stayed on the island. Its the best. I have only seen 2 light houses, the last one is so hard to get too. I saw both shores and met tons of locals born on the island. I highly recommend

If you wanna puke, piss or shit in the street go to New Orleans or San Francisco . Lol, this is a slow paced small town island. Golf, sailing, the beach, New England historical sites. Why ruin it?
