I return to this song again and again because Nancy Wilson is The Way it Goes.

Nancy Wilson is the Queen of vocal acrobatics. There is no greater command of one's instrument as with Miss Wilson. As a side note, she has no business being that gorgeous at 69 years old.

My girl for sure shes the only one who does this song justice

The Vocal master is teaching all that will listen........any many have been Taught like Anita baker , Regina Belle , Oleta adams & Natalie Cole & of Course Phyliss Hyman. She is One Of a Kind...hypnotizing her Audiences!!

What elegance and sophistication. This woman is true royalty. She can sing any style of music with such class and grace. The Way It Goes is such a lovely song. She and the Crusaders did a great job with this song. I see why she had a long and illustrius career. She deserves it. If the singers of today can just take Nancy as a role model and model their careers after her. She is a true gem. Thanks for the post.

I feel in love with it about 30 years ago

Classic is all I came say her voice make me cry each time the classic woman of all time.

I love this version recorded live with a full orchestra perhaps even more than the recording. Nancy was performing at the That's What Friends are For benefit concert with so many legendary performers and I think she brought her AAA game. Well done!

My absolute all time favorite song by Nancy Wilson, I've had the pleasure of seeing her live twice in my life in concert and I was always amazed at her incredible voice, interpretation of song, and her exemplary level of class. They don't make women like her these days. She is extraordinary. This song just puts me into orbit. I'll go with you !

RIP the great Nancy Wilson. Some of the happiest nights of my life were spent ringside watching Nancy perform & shaking her hand when she took her final bows at the world famous Blue Note jazz club in New York City along with her ever talented Trio of consummate musicians. She greatly enriches my life as one of the few people whose music and persona could ever make me smile...

Oh, Nancy Wilson....you will surely be so missed....Elegant, beautiful, sexy, a chanteuse incomparable....

Extraordinary performance from Nancy, reminds me of 1976 at The Dorothy Chandler with full orchestra...so soulful and dramatic, this legendary singer is peerless! Bravo Nancy!!! Looking forward to celebration at The Hollywood Bowl!

I loved Miss Nancy Wilson when I first saw her when I was 14 years old and she was my first introduction to jazz. And what and introduction it was. Now I'm 64 and I love her and jazz more than ever and I will forever. You're truly 'the first name in jazz' for me Miss Wilson. P.S. I'd hoped to find her recording of "A House is Not a Home" but haven't found it here. It's the best!

Little Jimmy Scott must be awfully proud from afar; when listening to Ms. Wilson's interpretations having been influenced by his style, voice, and manner. How can you not be moved by this rendition?
