Nancy - Short Film 2019
2 years ago I wrote a 6 part series called, Nancy. A few months ago I was encouraged to film it. And a few weeks ago, I did.
To all of those who donated to The Nancy Project we were able to hold a Readthrough in London in June 2019. With an audience consisting of well established professionals in the industry things were looking up.
However with the donations now spent on filming the short and the read through, the Nancy series was sent to production companies. Rejection letter after rejection letter flooded in and with some personal life difficulties TNP was forced to take a pause. When it will be picked up again, none of us really know. But know I am forever grateful for all of your support, and will let you know if plans change.

@@marieb195 Absolutely! Bella's work in _Last of Us_ is just incredible (albeit the brutality makes it rather difficult to watch, but that's certainly nothing new to GoT fans!) Phenomenal young actor!

Funny connection to Last of us - her line when she took a sip of her dad's whisky - "Disgusting", tying nicely into her sip from Joel's flask "still gross".

I love Bella Ramsey. Her fantastic lipsync of the iconic Tammy Tyrell is proof of her acting chops. This little gal is special.

Every time I see, hear, or, even think about Bella, I see Isolde she's just so like her... "When you love someone, you have to love 'em for the good points and the bad points no matter what." RIP, Isolde Eve Lynn. I love you.
That was great Megan! Dammit that ending made my heart sink too. Brilliant job Bella !

I am! Loved her in GoT. She was one of the few good parts of the awful final seasons. Found this nice short film, and she's really good in it! I can see bits and pieces of Ellie here. I think she'll do a pretty good job. Excited to see the show!

This was pretty darn good, y'all! Everything was really good. The filming, sound & locale very good. The acting is good as well. The young actress is very good and carries her character completely. I find myself wondering what the whole story is about. It has captured me. Well done all around. Hope it is completed.
So glad this came up on my recommended list! Can't wait to see more of the series, and your work. Really impressive. Congrats on GoT, as well.

This Bella Ramsey is other worldly talented. She played another role where she’s introverted but good at writing/drawing and it seemed fitting for Ellie and all.

Ashley Johnson did an outstanding job voicing Ellie. All this girl needs is a to deliver her lines with an American accent convincingly, and shed be perfect! Does she have anything out where she speaks using this accent? Ellie is our baby girl, we just want to see her role protected

OK I’m only like six minutes in but the way that Bella or the character that they’re playing was like stealing the bottle of whiskey, because of her dad saying that whiskey helps him forget so the character or the person Bella was playing went to get whiskey to see if I would help her forget, and then the dad caught her getting the whiskey, and then was like Don’t drink it and then Bella‘s character was like why do you drink so much and when I was scared to ask that it almost made me like sad, because my dad‘s an alcoholic, and I want to ask him out sometimes to likewhy do you drink so much because the way that Bella’s character slowly realize that her dad wasn’t necessarily OK and that the reason he drinks is because of her mother that is kind of like Aw

She saw that addiction is bad from her father, so she avoided getting addicted to ice cream at the end by leaving it behind

@Ferociouz Beats Ineresting. That makes sense. But I also thought it was simply showing her eating alone because her father was out of the picture because he was either drunk or dead from drinking too much and she left the ice cream as a sort of token to her father who she misses.
