I love how genuine she is and she's not trying to change herself. She's so naturally funny and spontaneous 👍

I met her in 2015. I was one of the mormont soldiers in season 5 of game of thrones. I was sitting beside her with my buddy Kieran in the scene Jon snow was made king in the north. In between takes she would talk to us and make up our fantasy names in the game of thrones universe, it was very sweet.

The amount of harassment and hate she's gotten recently is so unnecessary. She's so quick witted and obviously talented it's unreal. Seems as though she's anxious about it all, seeing as she had a fidget toy in her hand during this interview and honestly, I would be too. She has great mannerisms, a great attitude, and just a great sense of humour. She doesn't deserve any of the hate she's getting. The true embodiment of Ellie, I can't wait to see her performance!

Because they "don't look like Ellie" and everyone saying that they wouldn't be capable of pulling off Ellie's character. Which, I think she's done absolutely brilliant at. People are just childish, expecting them to find someone who looks EXACTLY like Ellie. Bella is fantastic as her.

This post is a little old but we just finished watching the first season of last of us on HBO. Bella does a fantastic job, and is a great actress. On the other hand. I was a bit taken back by bella vs. in Game Ellie. I played both the last of us and the last of us 2. I also watched the making of the game. Ashley johnson and troy baker who plays joel. Behind the scenes in the making of the game had me in tears. These two deserved an oscar for their performances. I guess I kinda wished they would've casted Ashley as Ellie because she literally lived it. Troy does great also but Pedro looks almost exactly like Joel, so theres that. I'm a little disappointed in Bella's casting but she fits Ellies character perfectly. Is what it is. Looking forward to season 2. And the release of Last of us 3!!

Ok, I've known she's a fabulous actor for a while, but that moment when Kimmel says "My mom has never said 'you die"" and her immediate, off the cuff, reply was "There's still time," that was the moment I fell in love with her. That sense of humor is perfect.

What's really bad is those who are hating Bella are not criticizing the other casting choices. they say Bella doesn't look like Ellie yet they are perfectly ok(even love) the casting of a black actor being cast for the character of Maria, who was a white woman in the game. they are double standard hypocrites.

Having seen the first 6 episodes of THE LAST OF US . I will say without a shadow of doubt . Bella played the part of Ellie absolutely superbly.... not only is she an extremely gifted young actress...she is also able to deliver the funny moments perfectly👌 , her delivery and timing are fantastic👌....and as we've seen in this interview she is just a lovely young lady . I wish her all the very best in her career to come ❤️

Looking forward to The Last Of Us. They shot the bulk of it here in Calgary and there were various road closures here and there for MONTHS as they dressed buildings, streets, and cars to look post-apocalyptic. The local media took PLENTY of pics and it all looked AMAZING. It's gonna be fun trying to pick out which scenes were shot where, once this thing debuts :)

Omg i watched this with a smile on my face, how can anybody hate on this girl ? If you don't like the cast hate on the casting crew, hate on HBO, hate on the creator of the game (and series), but not her.

She commands every scene she’s in, amazing and wonderful.

She did a bang up job playing Ellie in the pilot episode, especially considering she's never played the game.

Absolutely cannot wait to see the chemistry between her and Pedro Pascal.

Such a fine young lady. Its so great to see this cheerful and open a person in this day and age. I actually have a cousin sister who is sort of like this. Extremely smart and talented singer, so it really makes me happy to see her attitude.

Seems like a good sign that they picked the actor based on acting ability rather than prioritizing a physical match to the character from the game. She is really cool and clearly smart. I hope she gets exactly what she wants from show biz. She sure seems to be hitting it out of the park so far!

She was great in GOT and absolutely killed it in TLOU !! Major star in the making I think!!

What I've come to realise is that nearly all of the cast members from GoT are absolutely adorable in interviews - genuine, charming and funny.

Wow okay she actually convinced me as Ellie .....

The game was basically a 20 hour long movie (in a good way), extremely moving and probably my favorite gaming experience of 2014 when it came out. In fact I'm so faithful to the characters that it's kinda off putting to see other people play the parts of these characters, especially when they kinda don't look like them. That being said, she seems really bright and super cool and from what I've seen and heard, they probably did an amazing job on this recreation. Edit: A 20 hr long movie with gameplay sequences intertwined

i was kind of hesitant about this adaptation because i'm so attached to the characters in the game, but seeing bella i think it could be great. it doesn't need to be exactly like the games, i'd prefer it wasn't, makes it easier to separate the two so they're not in competition with each other, just two similar things that can exist at the same time.

They are so witty and funny. I absolutely love it! I wish nothing but the best for Bella Ramsey and their career!

@@burpingskywalker AFAIK, they don't care about pronouns. However, they do *not* like being gendered, according to interviews. (Also, TIL that "nonbinary they" still needs to be conjugated like the "plural" they. 😅 One more win for inclusive writing! Yay! [I'm French-Canadian...])
