@Kino-Człek within the context of the film he is a villain. He seeks to wipe out all life on the surface world, no matter the motivation he has for such an act it is the action of a villain.

@@phillyjackson45 I feel like most of the changes were to avoid brand confusion with DC but they were creative changes and i personally was ok with him as a character.

@@plutoniumparker3849 I think that them turning him into a genocidal tyrant who wanted to "burn the surface world" was far removed from his character in the comics tbh. He was more of an anti hero of the seas who protected his people and the seas but he never went so far as to want to start a war with the surface world because he understands that's not in the interest of his people
