They should’ve already had weapons ready to take on such opponents otherwise how are we supposed to believe they’re the most powerful Let alone most technologically advanced Nation on earth? This almost look like a covert insult where they make a Charicature of Africans and have them look like people who don’t even use their resources to their full potential. Hopefully Marvel has bigger plans for BP and Wakanda and planned on making them look THAT good, but maybe they’re taking the wrong approach in how long it takes for Wakanda to finally look like the Most powerful Nation on Earth.

And this is why i prefer this film to its predecessor because the visual effects and set pieces are more refined and authentic. Wakanda looks and feels like a real kingdom this time and Namor’s abilities are showcased with excellent execution. The production value of this film is so lucrative compared to the first.

We see more up-close shots of different areas that function in the city. In first one we only got few high up from above shots of some fantasy land and were told it works. We were only shown how and why it works in second movie.

No because Loki is an agent of advanced magic that he’s honed for thousands of years. He has too many tricks up his sleeve. This guy fell from the bifrost into deep space and somehow wound up on earth.. 🫤 Namor is formidable in his own right but the problem with him is that his source of strength is also his fundamental weakness - water. Take him away from hydrogen and this guy is as threatening as a kitten. Loki could easily separate Namor from water via magic, teleport him away from any bodies of water and Namor is reduced to a fish. Loki is strategic, tactical and swift. Namor is only dangerous within his own territory. In a desert he’d be completely useless.
