MonoNeon was Prince’s last bassist he worked with in the studio. He made an album with Prince which I hope will be heard one day.

Been a fan of Eric's since he was a very young man. Prison may have locked his body for a few years, but he came out 20k times the musician. He is the real deal all the rest of the guitarists in the world wish they were. He is Rock and roll come full circle. This is one of those times I feel he has finally met another musician of his same caliber... I hope to hear more from these two

It's normally a chore to watch two guys space jam for 16 minutes, but that was a pleasure.

I just happened to see the title as I was scrollin and knew I had to watch this one... 2 really unique, incredibly talented musicians with the opportunity to just jam out with each other? Yeah, I'm game.

I've always been in awe of Eric's ability to play upside down. It took me almost 3 minutes into the video to realize MonoNeon was also playing upside down. I'm blown away

Epic jam! Every time I listen to Eric Gales & MonoNeon they blow my mind!

The man is a master; in the best sense of the word. Beyond musicology or musicianship, but at its heart just that.

The most exciting guitarist currently drawing breath.

This has inspired me in about 500 ways, and that is just within my emotions. Musically, I am filled with nothing but fire from the both of these guys....thank you for posting and both of you guys are an inspiration to any guitarist on the planet!

Suuuuper scooped tone. All lows and highs. Basically a slap tone without slapping. You could achieve a similar tone with most active dual humbucker active basses.

I love the discipline that mono has in respect to building the music. And i feel that mono shined a lot here, even in a more compressed form he was able to address feelings and complexity in a way that challenges even Eric extended soloes. As a matter of facto the duet grows so much that could fit no problem as a track in a great jazz album, or some unseen future musical genere, so to speak IMHO e ciao a tutti
