You know what’s even funnier about Sam’s response? Josh had the same amount of money going into Final that Cliff Clavin did!

This is a Final Jeopardy, not a Category.

I have an idea for CBS. How about we have an event in which three game shows are combined for the same 3 contestants and a prize is given for each of the game shows they appear in. Also, a final prize is given for the best combined result of the 3 game shows. The game shows would be "Jeopardy!", "The Prize Is Right" and "Wheel Of Fortune". The initial testing process (You can test for intelligence for the game of "Jeopardy" or word-solving ability or price-guessing ability or all 3 combined in some manner.) would attempt to yield enough contestants to have a pool that is similar to what is normally used to choose all 24 contestants (6 groups of 4) for an hour-long episode of "The Price Is Right". In "The Price Is Right" episode you will have 6 "One Bid" rounds to choose 6 contestants out of the initial 24. Then each of those 6 play a pricing game. Then you have a "Spinning Wheel" round after the 3rd contestant and the 6th contestant are done with their pricing games. Now you have 2 finalists for the Showcase round. The four that lost in the "Spinning Wheel" round have an additional spin-off to determine a wildcard 3rd contestant for the other 2 shows. Then the 2 finalists for the Showcase round and the wildcard contestant go to also compete in an episode of "Wheel Of Fortune" and in an episode of "Jeopardy!".

My area is ABC not CBS

I read Arthurian literature last month (Sir Gawain and the Green Knight and Wyf of Bath's Tale) and I looked into the history of King Arthur, one aspect of which included Guinevere (as well as Merlin, Avalon, chivalry, and the sword Excalibur) being added by French writer Cretien de Troyes in the 12th century. I will forever dwell on missing this question! 😭

Because of this win, Idaho is the 36th state to have a “Jeopardy!” Tournament winner.

Odd that this Tournament ended on Thursday rather than finish the week and start the new Tournament on Monday....

Yeah if Sam we’re to bet 10K of his wager correct he would double his score and earn $65.200 which is the highest one day record of Austin Roger $65.600. If Josh we’re to bet on Final Jeopardy he’d would have to wager $18.001 to pull ahead against Sam.

With 4 years in Latin in high school, a started with Janis but got to Guinevere in time. Not an easy question for people who never watched "Merlin ".

That's a very interesting Final Jeopardy clue. Jennifer is my mother's name and she guessed Genevieve as a possible response thinking she would be right, but then we found out that it's actually Guineviere instead.

What is Guinevere? Most American names came from England & I picked up the correct response straight away because they sounded similar Jennifer. Lucy who had the correct response didn’t wager enough & Josh who played chicken with the wrong response wins $100,000. In this tournament everyone wins but the more money the better.

I got this Final Jeopardy! clue right.

$10,000 is the highest amount lost on a Daily Double since Steven Webber risked $15,000 in Celebrity Jeopardy and answered wrong.

You are incorrect, sir. I wagered $13,000 and responded incorrectly, a record that stood for about 6 months, until another contestant risked all of his then total ($13,600), and got it wrong, on what, I must say, was a particularly easy question.
