Best 17 minutes of my life. I literally was smiling throughout the whole video. Nala Stomps/Flops is very loved dog and she makes a lot of viewers happy. I just wish she knows that ❤️❤❤

I absolutely know that feeling "I need a dog". When my husband and I rented our apartment to live separately from parents I was like "We need a dog! Now!" Home is not home without a pup

If anyone hasn't yet watched Nala's few videos of her and her dad cooking - do not miss these. They are pure fun and a riot (almost literally)....🥰

Chris, I was happy when you said you aren’t thinking of adding a pup to your home. Nala is so special and she adores you. Perhaps when she is much older and not able to go on the hikes with you, an addition to the family would work. Your relationship and activities with Nala brings joy to everyone who sees her. I got a puppy for my 8 year old Labrador. Three years have passed, and though they can act like best friends, they’re also somewhat jealous and `argue’ about who gets to sit next to me. I think Chris should wait, or even foster a dog once in a while. He and Nala have a special bond.

This is some solid 15/10 content right here! 13/10 for Nala and one for each human!

Thanks so much, Chris, for this wonderful video expose' ! Your abiding love and commitment for your canine partner bring tears of joy and wonder to my eyes. Once, I had my own "kindred spirit', named Phinneus (name taken from the book - "A Separate Peace") a German Shepherd Dog who would go to the (veterinary) clinic where I practiced every day and lay under my desk when I was meeting owners, as well as later on at the in-patient addictions treatment center where I worked as a crisis counselor. Phinney was the greatest 'therapeutic factor' in the entire agency, and we were together throughout each day. I have such joy and gratitude for having been fellow rovers hiking in the White Mountains of New Hampshire during those enchanted days; best friends always. He bouyied my spirits when I was down and shared in the joys of adventuring the out-of-doors. Your own adventures cause me to reflect on those priceless times together in the 1990's. I see that you have the same connection to your beloved as did I. I am so pleased to know you have decided to "seize the day" (carpe diem) and spend quality time together; the time as you well know, is all too short. Wishing the two of you all the best in every way! Ave', Nala! (wondering if you might do a segment about how you are able to take care of Nala needs on you adventures: parasites, especially ticks (which as you know, are fast becoming a very serious problem in the US), food; shelter; formal training if any, injury management; important factors to consider when going out into the wilderness - wild animals (or people); hypothermia, etc; .....if you have to go away on trip - do you have friends who can keep her?

Chris i had the chance of a lifetime being able to go to Alaska to spread my husband's ashes....you two have to go to Alaska and hike. It is absolutely the most beautiful place I've ever seen, but then, im a mountain girl rather than the beach. Keep on rollin and STOMPING ❤❤

Tucker and Todd live far from Nala and Chris. The closest famous Golden I know is Lady.

My 11 year old Labrador has always stomped for butt scratches. She’s too tall (and I’m too short) to stand between my legs, but she knows the words “butt scratchies” and her back paws stomp along with the scratches. 😂

My dog does the flop toooooo. It’s a ritual with us.

White muzzle is Sugar Face . . . love it. With how much joy she seems have, we should call it a Snow Face or maybe white stripes are a dog's laugh lines. XD

Nala smushes: you might know that some people use weighted blankets as relaxation aids. And physiotherapists use “deep pressure” (like firm hugs) for the same reason. It stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system.

This was so heart warming to watch. Your relationship is so genuine you can’t help but smile while watching. At the end, you articulated amazingly how I feel about my dog. Thank you and Nala for your videos.
