Can't get over how well-behaved little Nala is, riding on a ferry, going to all these new and exciting places, forests and cars whizzing by, and there she sits sightseeing! And we all get to go along!!

@@veilenedream5825 - My part Maine Coon girl was like that. She loved to travel. I lost her in 2019 at the age of 20 years. I now have a male that looks like her, but travelling isn't his thing. I tried to take him out in a pet stroller and he did a "Houdini" escape before we even made it to the elvator, and darted back down the hall to our door.

There is something about Dean’s lens capturing his surrounding that’s calming. It was as though the camera became Dean. His personality shines thru the footage. Of course having the inquisitive Nala is just chef’s kiss. The whole experience watching Dean’s film is great!

This is one of your best travelogues! You are so lucky to have gone to St Florian and then the Clam Castle, boy this is some trip for all of us Dean!. Loved the armour, and that you were bringing us back to when they were throwing bananas and tomatoes, defending the castle during the wars. Nala, queen of the castle at least for a couple of days. I'm always amazed at how well she adapts to things that would scare the be'jeebers of most cats. Life as a traveling cat seems to suit her. Best cycling companion ever!

How awesome that Nala was the first ever invited kitty in the 500 year history of the family owning this castle....Nala looked like she really enjoyed staying in a castle, but of course she would after all she is a princess.

I love how the castle owner says "When my family arrived here...14-something" so casually like every family has lived in their residence for forever. I also like that Dean is allowing more information as told by a guide/owner this time so we can get a better idea of what we're looking at.

Carl Philip and his family have an amazing home! I’d love to stay there with them. Nala clearly enjoyed the wonderful visit too. I hope he got some fun photos of you two that he could feature on his website. And to be fair to Carl, Nala is definitely not a typical cat. In addition to being very well behaved in public places, in many ways, she can be like a dog.

Dean & Nala going over on the ferry (landing craft) solo with Scottish flag waving looked like a mini Austrian invasion :-D! The drone footage was spectacular (music was appropriate as well). Dean has really become an excellent cinematographer. Best wishes to them and all.

Dean has a very romantic imagination...they threw stones,hot pitch,urine,boiling water ,hot fat and all Kind of terrible things down the enemies...i am sure he did not want to tell this Nala...we are so laughing here.about the tomatos,bananas and eggs.....living in a village with a castle too...in south west germany🤣🤣🤣

Fantastic tour, thanks to Dean for taking us along! I knew from the look of it that this was a quite old castle (not all of them are), because of the style of the defensive towers. Lots to see, amazing suits of armor and a real dungeon, wow. Gorgeous accommodation, and the Count was so nice to give a personal tour. (Nice publicity for the castle, of course, but he seems like a very nice person.) Nala's little face at the window, awww... Many people would have left her there while they walked around the grounds, but not Dean!

Been in Burg Clam in 2018, met Philip personally, great people there

I hope you and Nala get many more castle invitations going forward. My cats (7) and I enjoy watching your travels almost daily. Very well done!
