Dean is so hard core, cycling in all kinds of weather. They grow them pretty hardy in Scotland! And he takes such good care of Nala, making sure she is always warm and dry. 🧡

Да. Англичане и шотландцы очень холодостойкие. Они там в любую погоду могут в шортах ходить. И в домах у них холодно. Я допустим из Сибири. У нас 6 месяцев снег и часто -30°. Но я холод не переношу. Мы очень тепло одеваемся. И в домах у нас очень тепло. Центральное отопление.

Yes, me, as well. I know how bikes and cars handle each other where I live and most of the time it is not pretty. I keep flinching watching how close the cars are to them and the speed they pass Dean. We all care for both of them so much - it is a natural reaction, I suppose.

I got cold just watching Dean ride in the rain and wind, then I was warm seeing Nala all cozy on the bed. She looked so content and adapts to anywhere that her dad is. That was so cute when Dean told Nala to get down but she wanted to cuddle his face. Stay safe and warm Dean and Nala.

I take my hat off to you, you’re strong and can handle any situation in rain, sleet n snow yet you have the sweetest softest heart. Your love for Nala shines through.

Dean has camped in the snow before. He cycles in 0°c in nothing but a singlet and shorts. Nala has woolly jumpers if she needs them.

This must be surreal for you, Dean. Minding your own business, cycling around the world, and all of a sudden your entire life is completely changed by a cat who somehow turns you into a duo people come out and meet and want pics and autographs. Dean will have everyone from Lands End to John O'Groats, Tyneside to Tierra del Fuego saying 'crack on'. There's another version, 'What's the crack'? ie 'What's gives/happening?

Thank you for this video Dean and Nala. You always take rain in your stride. Even being soaked Dean! I always wish that you find the best and safe places to camp; particularly if there's an existing structure you can use! Nala is just having the best time wherever she is. Dean, I just found this out myself: Nala is a turby cat! It stands for tortoishell and tabby coat pattern, not a breed. They are mostly female and have very distinct personalities. Nala’s cousin Hana (my cat) most certainly has a very determined and sassy personality and I am reminded of Nala’s outgoing personality in my cat too. The two do look a lot alike. 😸

I laughed I cried, I smiled, the book is wonderfully written very honest ...The beauty of it is that you learned life lessons from little Nala sweet fur baby ...The good people you met in your travels ...Well worth the money knowing that it goes to help innocent animals in need ...What an inspired idea.. In the book you talk about you hope there's Angels well seeing is believing there are Angels they're not little they're big & they are given to each one of us in our lifetime... I think yours is extra busy... I'm so glad you're out of the rain....It a nice place you found to stay they were so kind & welcoming to you & Nala...I see little Nala is stretched out & looks so happy.... Il y a une autre chaine que je fréquente aussi souvent que possible. Il s'agit d'un couple en Australie, qui a trois enfants en bas âges, et dont le mari mène un "doggy day care". Ce couple est lui aussi extraordinaire. Si vous aimez les animaux, c'est pour vous. Sam et Luke sont tous deux clairement très aimants, respectent leurs enfants, leurs chiens et ceux qu'ils reçoivent au sein de leur business. Il s'agit de Doggy Daycare Farm Trips. Je pleure comme une madeleine très régulièrement devant leurs vidéos, souvent parce que leur affection pour ces animaux est plus que touchante, et souvent aussi parce que parfois on apprend la vie peu facile de certains animaux... Mais généralement c'est un grand sourire à mes lèvres que livre le spectacle de ces vidéos.

Nala seemed to thank Dean when they were in the B&B room for the night. Warm, dry bed after a day of rain. Dean, you are awesome. I could never do what you do but thank you for sharing your journey.

Wind is not great even in warm weather! Hard to cycle in head winds. Day ended well, though at the B&B. And the nice people that you signed the book for was so sweet! When she was sniffing the brick wall & you said you love that clip...Nala's face....haha. I think cats do that when they smell urine on a wall.

They have a smelling organ in their mouths, which helps them get a better sniff of whatever it is. Big cats do it too. Lions like to roll around in other animals poo, as it releases endorphins. They will grimace like Nala did.

Nala was probably sniffing lizards, which often inhabit brick and stone walls because it toasty warm for them.

Very nice people at the B&B and the fans too. Accommodations very clean and neat. It's great to see there are kind people all over the world.
