It is definitely not stupid that you are struggling. As a metal worker nails aren't made to be taken out. They are made to keep things together and stay in. That's why smart people when trying to take things apart cut where the nail is so they don't have to try and get the nail out. Since you can't just cut the hood off to get the nail out 😂 I can totally see why your u we uld struggle getting it out.

Yea but your talking about a whole nail that was driven or shot into wood properly, not a piece of a nail that's jammed into a 2000 lb bulls hoof. @@erniewhite1365 I assure your u there was no trolling. As I said I work with nails quite a bit. As a person that works with nails as I said they are meant to go in and not come out. So the fact that he took the time to pull that out of the hood and give relief I was giving respect. If the laughing made you think I was being disrespectful I'm sorry it was because of the thought of the absurdity of thinking about cutting a good off to get a nail out. I’m always amazed at the serious amount of pain these poor animals can handle. How did cows YEARS ago not suffer from these issues? Was it the way they were housed? The flooring? Their food?
@jenetikitty
3 жыл бұрын
Well, the answer is that they *did* suffer these issues. while the farmers probably did try to pick up feet and fix them, that's a big critter who can squish a human like a bug. quite bluntly, any animal that became too lame probably became dinner. For the humans or for the predator ballsy enough to try and pick them off.

While these issues did occur, they weren't as frequent back then because dairy operations were smaller. Transportation and refrigeration were major issues until the mid 1800s. Until refrigerated railroad cars came along, dairy products weren't travelling very far. Since they couldn't really sell milk long distance, most people had one maybe two cows to produce enough milk for their own needs. And beef cattle weren't around long enough for these issues to be a concern.

Poor baby. 🐂💔💋
The Post10 of the hoof and puss world. I am entranced. Plus this is a tri-fecta episode… It’s got it all. Of course I subscribed. Thanks Algorithm!
Your joy at the end mirrors my own. Great!!
I dont know what brings me to these videos more, the satisfaction of watching problems being fixed and hooves growing well or the sound track 😂
It sucks that he had that nail in his hoof, but thankfully it didn't go all the way through. You do an amazing job and help those cows and bulls to stay healthy or recover from those issue with their feet. Thank you for all you do to help them.
Man I love this channel… I live in San Diego now but I grew up on a dairy in Ohio and I remember all this growing up. We did it ourselves but I don’t think we were ever even 1/10th as good at this as you are
I would call that a flat tire … great job. Never seen this stuff before and never knew they have issues of this kind. Very released. Handsome bull!
I think its amazing how you help all this livestock. I couldnt imagine the pain some of these critters were in.

Having life long foot issues it means more then u can imagine to me seeing someone care about their feet/hooves.
Poor guy was feeling pain while nail removed but he was happy thanks to this guy🤗🙏
I really enjoy all your videos 🙏 I love how you treat the babies and you are a wonderful family man and close to your clients and family, it reminds me of a time here in NY sooooooooooooooooooo long ago 🙏 you are a hoof whisperer 🙏
Is it only me or others also who feels relief after watching these videos.
I love your videos, they are so relaxing! The drone shots of the countryside are so beautiful and the music is lovely. Thank you for making a KZread channel ❤️ much love from Florida

People are saying use plyers to pull nails out. Well being a Sparks I've found often a good pair of Electricians side cutters are the best at getting to and pulling embedded nails.
