Ok you going to ask Jess made me LOL for real! You two crack me up! Now as far as this video and the content goes...wow! How amazing is this?! If I only had this technology as a kid! I wouldn't have ruined so many cassettes playing stuff over and over trying to learn things!

Steve you are a badass…thanks for demoing this…I’ve been using Transcribe for years but it doesn’t isolate tracks and as you know, sometimes it’s impossible to hear some guitar parts…rock on my brother 👍

OMG Steve. What an AWESOME bit of software. I never knew it existed. I remember having cassette players that slowed down music to learn the licks. Then came the digital players which were even better, but this software takes the Cake. Thanks For Sharing.

I use RipX to make custom backing tracks and I have hundreds and they are very good and have no guitars. Transcriber from 7 string is so awesome to learn songs and isolate guitar parts, probably the best out there imo and only 50 bucks!

I have been using RipX and Moises for a few years now, and it is an awesome program for guitar players. And they keep getting better with updates. Great job on the video.

Great video Steve! Seems like a great tool when you want to fine adjust your play and wish to exclude parts that can affect your judgement 👌

YES! Brother more content like this! Please take us down this rabbit hole! I have been flirting with this "tool" for a minute. My ears are more inclined towards tone matching! This tool has the potential to be a side Man's (or producer's) wet dream! Thank you! "Keep Doing That Voodoo That You Do!"

Back in the day before the Internet existed I used an Akai U 4 phase trainer. Which was pretty good for ear training. I wonder what the modern equivalent is?

You find this better than Transcribe? It’s easy to use, doesn’t isolate the instruments as much but very easy to use and do loops. It does run into DRM issues so not all songs will load into it. Does that ever happen with Rip-X?
