    Nadine reminds me here of an old Indonesian pastor I once knew. Members of the congregation warned me, before I had sat down the first time, "I hope you've had breakfast (we're going to be here awhile)". He often had a story, which reminded him of another story, which reminded him of another story. He'd always get back to the original story, eventually.
