NAD M10 V2 BluOS Streaming Amplifier | The Listening Post | TLPCHC TLPWLG

Ғылым және технология

Combining a sophisticated music streamer and powerful 100-watt-per-channel amplifier in one super-stylish component, the #NAD #M10V2 BluOS Streaming Amplifier (#unboxed) is made for the way people listen to music today. The M10 V2 is based on the acclaimed BluOS multi-room music platform, which has integrated support for dozens of streaming services. You can queue up any music you want using the intuitive BluOS app, and hear it in glorious high fidelity through your favourite loudspeakers. The M10 V2 improves on its award-winning predecessor by adding a remote control, updated gain algorithms, and an easy upgrade path to Dolby Digital surround sound.
Just Add (More) Speakers
Like the original M10, the M10 V2 exemplifies the “Just Add Speakers” revolution in hi-fi. But it takes that revolution a giant step further. Along with audiophile-grade speaker terminals, it has two independent subwoofer jacks, whose output settings are adjustable from the BluOS app. The M10 V2 adds Dolby Digital surround-sound decoding. Home-theatre fans can configure a pair of BluOS surround-enabled wireless speakers or amplifiers to play the surround channels, while the main speakers handle the front channels, so that the M10 V2 serves as the hub of a 4.1- or 4.2-channel Dolby Digital surround setup. The M10 V2 transmits the rear channels wirelessly, with very low latency, so you don’t have to run wires around your room to connect the surround speakers.
Complete Control
There are many ways to operate the M10 V2. Use the BluOS app on a smartphone, tablet, or computer to cue up music from your favourite streaming service, or music stored on USB and network drives. Choose some songs from the Spotify or Tidal app on your computer or smart device, then shift playback to the M10 V2. Stream music to the M10 V2 from an iPhone, iPad, or iTunes library via AirPlay 2. Select music by voice using the Amazon Alexa, Apple Siri, or Google Assistant voice protocol. The M10 V2 is Roon Ready, so you can stream music from a Roon Core server. The M10 V2 can be integrated into Apple, Control4, Crestron, Lutron, and other home-automation systems, so you can control music playback, along with other home systems like lighting, shades, HVAC, and security. Use the supplied remote control to adjust volume, skip tracks, and activate preset commands. Or choose tracks, select sources, and adjust volume and other settings from the M10 V2’s touchscreen. In addition, the M10 V2 can learn commands from your favourite IR remote control.
The Power and the Glory
Created by the award-winning design firm DF-ID, the M10 V2 features a solid brushed aluminum chassis, Gorilla Glass top and front panels, and a bright 7″ touchscreen, with purer colours and wider viewing angle than the screen on the original M10. Behind that gorgeous display lies a sonic powerhouse that delivers thrilling dynamics and exquisite detail. Based on the renowned nCore technology, the M10 V2’s Hybrid Digital amplifier is conservatively rated at 100 watts per channel. Its updated gain algorithms allow higher output levels with inefficient speakers. The subwoofer outputs also have higher gain, allowing for a wider range of subwoofer-main speaker combinations. The ESS Sabre DAC can accept streams up to 24-bit/192kHz.

Hello, i have some B&W 705S2 looking to pair with an amp. Currently looking at NAD m10v2 - Cambridge Audio evo150 - NAD C-399. Do you have any recommendations on which may be better to pair with my speakers or is that too subjective of a question?

Both the C399 and M-10 will out perform the Cambridge. If the amp is out on display, buy the M10. It is a stunning looking amp, that functions well from the front display.

I think you need the power of the C-399. Or maybe the C368 and the C268 combo! (heaps of power)

@@TLPCHC thank you for your answer .. think I will go with the 399 because the Dirac - I hope and think Dirac could help me a lot for bass waves to set up … do you have a video about Dirac with some experience? What do you think about Dirac ? Do you recommend it ? 🤗

Looks like a nice amplifier, having always owned amplifiers with traditional dial’s and buttons how reliable would this touch screen be with long term use? I feel like if the screen were to become faulty then the entire amplifier would be useless?

I guess you coudl use the App for control if there is ever an issue, or buy the C-700 (which has a knob)

How does the NAD C399 complare to this M10 v2? Apart from the higher 180wpc do both of these amplifiers have the same sound quality or would you say that m10 v2 sounds better overall?

Hello, I have Kef R3 Meta, I want to buy Nad M33 or Nad M10 v2, is it worth paying more? I like to listen to music very loud, thank you😊

(copied from your M33 question) The M10 will drive the R3's fine. If you might be planning an upgrade in size of speaker, consider the M33. Otherwise the M10 will be a fine match now

That is a pretty broad question. As we have not experenced any bugs, I don't know how to start to answer. Do you want to be specific?

Dude lobs the packaging at his cleaning lady for her to pick up. He must litter the street with chewing gum, sweety and chocolate wrappers. One thing you didn't mention is that it sounds poor on the analogue inputs due to it transferring to digital then back to analogue.
